The key game for the odds movement will be the game against the Steelers in Candlestick. If they win then the odds will halve but if they lose (having already lost to the Ravens) then the odds will drift a bit.
You could wait until just before the Steelers match but IMO the 49ers are in a no-win situation regarding the next couple of games which are against divisional rivals. They are expected to win them but, being divisional matchups, the opponents would love nothing more than to throw a spanner into the 49ers season by beating them and relegating them to No.3 seed.
So basically if you think they will beat the Steelers then wait, otherwise lay off now.

Thanks db1974 - it`s the Steelers game that worries me. Can u see them going single digits if they beat Steelers? Do u think they will get no2 seed and a bye? and if so, what price u think they will be when they sew up no2 seed?

Thanks punkha1, tbh mate, I never ever thought that they will win SB and it was always a bet to lay back and take profit before play-offs. I just thought that 100/1 was massive with Harbaugh taking over, as I always thought they had talent but were held back by singletary, a great player but someone who seemed not to get on well with players. I will leave some on them just in case though.

Definitely not the right time to trade out IMHO. If you want to cover the bet, place a small amount on the Steelers if you fear them. They have a great run in, and their hardest game (by a mile) is in SF. You have a great bet, run with it.

yes shazza. I am not bragging, I am genuinely looking for advice from other knowledgable NFL followers as to when I should lay them off, as that was always the plan. I don`t want to trade out too soon, but at the same time, I don`t want to see them drift and miss the boat. Can u see them hitting single digits in a few weeks time? Your advice is appreciated. Thanks mate.

From what I've seen mate as a novice and new NFL fan, is that the 49ers don't have the best team in the world but they play for each other. Looking at the match ups, personally I'd wait till Week 15 before trading out as I see them winning the next 2 games (but remember I have no knowledge on this lol). Did you get 100/1 here on Betfair? How much did you bet to begin with?
