I think tonight may be the last time I lump on Pittsburgh at short odds

Laugh True - not my usual strategy but had absolutely no faith in the Chiefs to do anything at all tonight, let alone keep it as close as it was.

Likewise, I quite robotic, conservative "player" - just couldn't see Chiefs getting a td and was prepared to hold fast. Doesn't suit me though - usually get a small-medium green, then take a percentage of that and back underdog in-running -  much more pleasant viewingLaugh

Just waatched a re-run of the game.  THe Steelers were purely AWFUL.  Only scoring 13 against that team.  Pats or Ravens will rip them up.

Steelers seem to play to the level of their opposition, I wouldn't be so quick to write them off

But it's gonna cost them sooner or later, they were so inefficient yesterday. I can't make my mind up about Rothlisberger, he either does a hell of a job in the pocket because his offensive line are woeful or he really does need too much time to find a pass. Either way they made a simple job look difficult last night. I think that will be the last time I back a 1.2. Definitely Pittsburgh.

they won the game, and that's all it was, 1 game. If basing things on 1 game, The Steelers beat the Pats with the Pats coming off a bye, so shirly they're a better team Mischief

I lost a VERY lumpy bet on Pittsburgh last night. I can't bring myself to watch the game Plain

'Playing the opposition' and 'winning the game' are fine, but if you let teams stay close (even bad teams) you'll end up getting bitten by an unlucky bounce.

Ah well ...

Ok they won the game ... but its the things they did during the game thats making me come up with the conclusion that they wont win anything. things such as their offense was just too easy to read. maybe im overreacting but this baltimore got this

Steelers is/was a running team with great D, running game now is horrible. I would certainly not write them off, but I'm not a believer in their passing game.

I thought they ran it ok last night, Mendenhall always impresses me but their passing game leaves a lot to be desired, and their defense seems weaker than last year.
