i kind of agree with you,he's limited and he certainly doesnt make up for that with pocket awareness,always looks rushed to me which isnt a good sign.
What i will say though is that bar a few individuals and we all know who they are the jets dont look a very balanced team,they've overspent on the secondary and the centre and have no viable weapons for sanchez,good grief even their running game is led by a man in the twilight of his career.
major surgery needed on this jets team.

I think Buddy Ryan jinxed them when he guaranteed Jets fans a SB victory this year. They should have beat Broncos tonight. Defensive players must be gutted having stopped Denver all night. Sanchez should never have thrown that pass on 3rd down which was intercepted for a TD. They were in total control at the time and would have won comfortably but for that error. Problem is that he has done it so often the past couple of weeks. He is one of them QBs whose main game is to make short passes and not make any mistakes. He done it the last couple of years but not this year. Mediocre QBs are hard to win SBs with.

Again cant disagree with any of that,you'd think that they'd provide him with a sold runnig game wouldnt you bearing in mind like you said he's a dink and dunk qb and highly unlikely to air it out to anybody bar the opposing secondary.

what i will say though mate is that talk like this put into perspective the difference between the elite and the not quite there ,never will be qb's.As far as i'm cocerned there are only 3 of them,rodgers,brady and brees

I don`t watch much College Football but the NFL pundits in America have been going on about this Andrew Luck guy as if he is the second coming, like Namath, Marino, Elway, Montana, Young, Brady, Rodgers and Manning all rolled into one! Is he that good mate or is he being overhyped?

well its the usual stuff mate,plays in a west coast offense ,pro ready,accurate,strong arm.I've watched him a few times and he looks good but so does matt barkley who'll probably go fairly high as well.One thing i will say is that andrew lucks offensive line is very good and thats a big plus in college footy.I remember plenty of pundits being hot on jimmy clausen for a while and down on cam newton and look at them now.

Every draftee has the potential to bust but he does look quite good and i think pollian thinks so as well so no doubt he'll keep him as opposed to trading him for a kings ransom.

Offensive Line are the most under-rated players in Grid Iron. Given the time and protection to pass, all QBs will look great. Good guards can make mediocre passers look like Montana. It`s when the protection breaks up that the true greats of the game step up and make near impossible plays. Brady must be the coolest QB I`ve ever seen. He never gets fazed and seems to have a 6th sense when linebackers are closing in, like he has eyes in the back of his head.

4th tier QB and will never be any better.
But, tell me how the Jets D allowed a QB scramble 20 yards for a TD, the safeties were too deep and should have picked up the scramble quicker, that would have forced Broncs to use up their final timeout and then where would you money be when Tebow has the run taken out of his game and he's forced to air it out against Jets ?
Then, brain dead Cromartie takes the kick off from the -9 yard line ? Where the hell is he going to go from there ? He cost Jets 6 yards and 4 seconds, so whilst I will never be a Sanchez fan he isn't the only one making mistakes on that Jets team

Couldnt agree more they've plenty of issues and sanchez needs them all sorted to be a viable qb because he doesnt have the skill set to overcome them ..........like you said i doubt he ever will progress enough to justify the sanchize tag.It appears to me that the jets have become so preoccupied with stopping brady and the pass that they've let a lot of other facets slip by.

You watch a fair bit of college stuff dont you horse,whats your take on andrew luck ? I must admit to thinking that mannings days are numbered because of the absolutely dire play coming out of the colts these days.Yes they're missing him of course but they've no appetite for playing and yet they still have plenty more talent that a lot of other teams.If i was a fan i'd be raging with their attitude.

The blitz from the jets even if they forced a sack would of left the broncos in easy FG range..tebow was hardly going to zip a missile to any receiver...denver offence is probably the worst i have seen this season.

harsh ,colts,rams,jags,chiefs,browns are all worse mate........tebow aint great through the air i admit but there arent many qb.s that get much change from the jets secondary.They did what they had to do and by the way that broncs von miller chap is a lethal weapon to build a defence around.

Sanchez is a younger Tony Romo.
cant handle the pressure

romo has his problems but he is way way ahead on sanchez..romo can get his team into winning positions..granted he has blown games but he is different class to sanchez

romo makes silly choices but i do think he can handle the pressure..he has bottle.

I'm no fan of romo,lacks leadership qualities for me unlike rodgers,brady,brees who have it in abundance. I must admit though i do like the look of the bengals new qb dalton,he seems to have what it takes to lead a team as does tebow of course but his progress will be questionable for a while yet.

Putting Romo in the same bracket as Sanchez is wrong......Romo is in a different league.

Romo is 10 times the QB that Sanchez will ever be. Problem with our Tony is that 2 games out of 3 he plays like Joe Montana and the other 1 he looks like Charlie Chaplin. If he could get some consistency in his game, he would be right up there with the best of them.

Tim Tebow has as much chance of becoming a star QB in the NFL as I have of travelling to Mars. What good is a QB who can`t throw an accurate pass? Like having a Pitcher who can throw a 120mph fast ball but can`t hit the strike zone! A poor man`s version of Michael Vick.

Our Peyton will be back as good as ever and playing for the Jets next year. The guy is made of steel and will remain the best QB in the league for a few years yet.

yes,i would agree that Romo is a far better QB but in terms of losing games
they should've won and sh1tting ones pants in presure situations they're alike.

Whatever your views are on Romo Sanchez isn't close to being in teh same bracket IMO.

Darren - I've seen very little College before this year, and from what I've seen of Luck I thin he's a talent, but I've always said that College football is kids, NFL is where the pro's are at and that;s where you get found out if you have any weaknesses in your game.

Colts will not take Luck if they get #1 pick, they'll trade down.
Manning has at least 2 mor eyears at the very top, maybe 3, so they've no need to look for a no'1 pick in 2012, besides they have bigger issues than QB.
They will be mad not to trade down, given that everyone knows how good Luck is they could easily net themselves a #1 pick 2013, a middle round pick 2013 plus a second round pick 2014, and with those picks you can do some serious strengthening....

the trade side of thing sis interesting but if we judge it on what the falcons had to deal to get julio jones then i think luck is going to be worth a lot more.in recent memory i cant really think of a more coveted player being traded on draft day.
