He's never had a beautiful throw, but it looks to me as though his left side is collapsing as he delivers the ball and he's kind of 'heaving' the pass. This makes him inaccurate and takes zip off.
True o, even when he has had the time this season, he seems to be struggling to make the reads that were second nature to him in previous years ??

Also, I notice the little 'touch' passes over the top are constantly tipped at the line, or by advancing defenders because he's losing his form.

I wouldnt go for it on 4th - take the 3 and see what happens. Granted, not seen whats gone on before this drive but theres always a chance in the 4th
