I don't think backing Seattle for more and more in the next few days would be that good an idea. I think the Yankees will complete the sweep and then the M's have to go home to face the Rays, who are good on the road and will have Niemann, Cobb and Hellickson pitching. I think they'll take 1 of 3 at home to Oakland to break the streak.

Baseball is a game of streaks, and for some reason (I suspect that bad teams find new and exciting ways to lose) losing streaks are particularly powerful. Admittedly, this one is a doozy, but as someone whose life is dominated by a team that once started a season 0-28, it isn't the longest you'll see!
