I have watched thee Yankees the last 2 nights and it amazes me how poor this team really is.

Time after time they are odds on at home but every single time they have men on bases they fail to get any runs, and seem to thrive off of grounding into double plays!

Would you bet on the flip of a coin if you were only getting 1/2 for it? This seems to me what baseball is ultimately. Laying both teams at 1.6 also seems like it could be profitable too! I am new to watching the sport but it amazes me how you could support any team in this game, they dont get disappointed when they lose because they play everyday, when I lose at sport it takes time to get over - these guys look like they dont really give a damn, would love  little insight from the regulars to this sport please!

Cheers

With runners on, the Yankees rank third in the MLB in runs scored.

I'm guessing runners on may mean runner on 1st, risp is runners in scoring poisition, ie. 2ndand 3rd base?
