I was surprised they played west coast offence when 2 scores down in the 4th, for such a destructive offence I can't remember an attempted deep play.
But, whilst the Pats disappointed, you have to give the Jets credit.
Apologies for offending Jets fans but they're a classless franchise and with Fat lad now at the helm they've become even more trashy, Ryan almost encouraging his players to badmouth opponents, BUT, he knows his stuff and gets his players playing to their strengths.
Their coverage was unreal last night, they shut down the run game and for the most part the receivers were covered, their pass rush was something Brady probably hasn't seen since his rookie days, I think the O-line broke down though.
So whilst I will never be a Jets fan I have to give them huge credit for their tactics and execution

if the Jets go the same way v the Steelers there could be a lot of penalties because the Steelers wont let it happen, and Sanchez will have to beat them cos they wont run on the Steelers D

You're not going to start lobbing it downfield outside the numbers against the Jets.

I think it was simple - hubris.

They never looked 'at it' and that was reflected through the whole team and sideline. The play calling was poor, the O line stank and Brady looked like he was somewhere else. He still went 9/45/299 2TD INT.

Fair play to the Jets, they won, but they're nothing like as good as the Pats. It just shows you have to have your head in the game.

or the pats weren't an actual 14-2 side, it was said early in the season that they were a work in progress. jets came good at the same time they did last year. the pats 16-0 team were way better than this lot....anyway hoping for a jets/bears final just to confound you cutler 'fans'

Very unfair comment there. The Jets beat the Pats twice this season. They got hammered in December, made adjustments and came back strong on Sunday.

The Jets are a very good side. Just because their defense gets the job done better than their offence doesn't mean that they are a worse team than the Patriots.
