i very much enjoyed the blind side

Also 'The Bag Guys Won' by Jeff Pearlman (about the 1986 NY Mets). Friday Nights Lights by Buzz Bissinger is a must-read and if Fantasy stuff is your thing - 'Fantasyland' by Sam Walker is entertaining stuff. Alos wold recommend 'Seabiscuit' by Laura Hillenbrand.
