why are all nfl handicaps not .5? like 2.4 5.5 6.5 etc?
some are just 3.0 there fore if the team -3.0 wins by a field goal the handicap is a tie, but there is no price for a tie anywhere?

In those instances you get your money back. (Check individual sites rules to be sure, but that's the norm and I don't believe I've seen it otherwise)
