I'd only say 'we knew' because the GB fans on here watch them every week, if not on Sky, then on some crappy internet stream (and you know nobody else is watching by the handful of replies on our threads!)
I'd never felt lower than last years Wildcard game, i honestly thought we'd go all the way, perhaps it was too early but with the injury list we'd all pretty much binned this year too, and like lazarus, we're back from the dead and it feels great! |

Being a Cards fan, maybe it's your capitulation last year which has made me doubt you! After all, I'd built up a huge green on GB then being sure the Cards would revert to their ways!!!
By:
Yeah Moaner but that capitulation was with a very depleted secondary and it's not as if the offense underperformed.
By:
They did in the first half.
There's no doubt I've been OTT on Green Bay this weekend and I apologise if that's offended anyone. |
By:
Offended is a bit over the top..think people just wanted a reasonable explanation to why you dont like them lol
By:
green bay are big favorites now, they will win and meet jets in the super bowl[;)]
By:
Doubt that you've offended anyone Moaner........everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter....i would think that most people are just surprised at it, especially you're opinion of Rodgers which is so far out it's staggering.

9hrs and counting....
pack fans getting nervous ![]() I read an article in the racing post regarding clay matthews..shin injury rated questionable...is this some kind of joke? |
By:
Pissed off in the extreme. Have a 3 day course in Bolton (?!?) staying by the Reebok stadium and just asked if they show nfl in the bar - they said football (even spanish) gets firsr priority
![]() Had to be this week |
By:
Going to be very nervous, but then i've got twitchy in the previous play-off games too. I honestly think this will be an easier game than the road games at PHI & ATL.

Philly easy? akers had a nightmare and vick pass could of knocked them out at the end...go to the gala casino ross..ask them to put it on,you wont get sound tho lol
By:
Funny that this week Simon Milham in his Racing Post write up mentions that the Packers under appreciated defence should put them in position to win tha game.......Yet only TWO weeks ago in his write up for the wild card game at Philly he was saying the Packers defence aren't all that.......go figure.
Some of us have known how good the packers D is for quite a while. ![]() |

Harry, think you should read my post again. [;)]

i dont buy the post ,havent done for years but i imagine simon milham relies on the ignorance of the general readership when typing up his bets.that and a poor sub editor.
Anybody with half an inkling about the nfl wouldnt be relying on milham for tips. |

As much as I bashed the Packers last week - that drive by Rodgers was exceptional.
By:
Well done Moaner....you'll get there in time
![]() |
By:
I don't think Rodgers is bad. I just haven't bought into the huge publicity considering his best games have been in domes / with the best WR corps and as good playcalling as there is in the NFL.
But that first drive was very impressive. To come out like that, that's Manning level. |
By:
Congratulations Green Bay fans and backers.

wd who took the plunge on the 6 seed...done it the hard way but class told ![]() |
By:
You never know til it's over - but the Packers had regressed to a Prevent D so it was still pretty safe.
Think GB may struggle defensively against Pittsburgh but should be clear favs. over NYJ. |
By:
Class told Harry but they made it much harder than it should've been.
Heart on mouth for most of the 4th quarter, but at least they got there |
By:
Jay Cutler getting a load of stick on Twitter
Darnell Dockett: “If I’m on chicago team jay cutler has to wait till me and the team shower get dressed and leave before he comes in the locker room!” |
By:
yes horse but you have to expect these kind of game in any sport...it cant be plain sailing, that would be too easy..they failed to put the bears away early in the 2nd,nearly paid for it.not a cutler fan but he may of pulled them back in it.
By:
Ok Cheeseheads, what are we doing with the huge greens we all have? Thinking about a 3:1 profit split with mine. The Steelers will be really tough, but think the conditions will suit us big time, so expect a GB win (of course!) but as i didn't bet us for the Conf. i'm gonna take a piece out.
By:
That's around the same as me CJ.....i wouldn't be able to live with myself if they got beat and i never took anything out of it......yesterday was bad enough and they were well on top most of the game, think i'll be having a heart attack if it's tight in the Superbowl and i've never laid any off.
Next two weeks are gonna drag....can't wait for it......Go Pack Go ![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
We were all bold letting it ride through the chicago game...2 weeks to decide so enjoy the build up packers..i feel like a packer fan now...its been a long ride lol
By:
My biggest position is a spread, bought Pack at 34 for quite lumpy, guaranteed 70 for reaching superbowl, 100 if they lift the pot, the difference is around the price of a business class return to Vegas.
They're offering me 87 to get rid of it which is a fair offer, reckon I might just be too greedy though - besides I want to buy shirts in the superbowl and watch Jennings, Jones and Driver score twice in Dallas in a 42-28 win with shirts making up 870 ! |
By:
Didn't think Rodgers had a good game yesterday could have blown it when 14-0 up and threw interception. Packers defence playing very well and can't see Steelers scoring more than 17 points. If Rodgers comes back to form 24-17 Packers. Nervous though as Steelers should have been knocked out by Baltimore.
By:
Who is this with horse? are u going to the states during superbowl week?
By:
Harry, you've been contributing good sense on our threads as much as anyone, we'll take all waifs and strays, even an Eagle. [;)]
GPG |
By:
You cant look at things with a biased opinion...as an eagles it was hard opposing them but i knew we would come up short this season....the pack havent won it yet but i always had confidence they would at least make the superbowl..job done
