Scoreless after the 1st in Pittsburgh. Sad

The 'Nucks not off to a great start Drew. Though they were 2 down early against the Leafs on Saturday and ended up winning convincingly. Maybe a slightly tougher proposition tonight though.

Pens/Rangers overs - about to lose spectacularly

I fancy taking the Kings at odds against given the form they're in.

Cheers Hayden.

It was 1-0 in the Pens game with 4 mins to go when I posted that. 2 mins later and it was 2-2 Laugh

You staying up for the Kings-Sharks game?

Great picking del, especially at Boston Grin

Typically, the first time I get heavily involved the house falls in.  Over-confidence my downfall once again Cry

It's a long old season drew tbh and a need for a consistent patient staking plan , Sharks proved again last night why their games are best left alone at the moment , last night was a go night and they were great in patches but what they produce in Colorado on Wednesday is anyone's guess.

Only 3 games tonight but there still looks at least one bet , good luck  Happy

OK HAYDEN - thanks for the lesson (and I'm not being sarky - I am new to this and definitely open to advice, only pretty stubborn to go with it so could end up taking a hit or two before the message sinks in!!)

All 3 of these matches are tight - I reckon the bet you may be thinking of HAYDEN is a regular time lay of TORONTO.  The Leafs have been hammered a few times lately and are struggling at home.  4 road games on the spin for Nashville and this looks the most winnable of the lot to me.  2.6 to lay Toronto looks a play to me.

Backing the tie in all 3 games would show a profit tonight though imo

Good luck Grin

No probs drew , when you get to know me you'll find me a fairly boring forumite tbh that doesn't do sarcasm and runs a mile from abusive threads as better things to do , must admit i've used the new blocking facility a lot so far and have about 30 names blocked that i've no interest in conversing with now or in the future , i've been playing the NHL strategy now for over 4 years across approx 25 bookmakers from season beginning to end but whilst my methods work for me they're certainly not everyone's cup of tea , hence why I don't post too much pre-match these days as my picks tend to oppose selected jollies a lot and it's not what other punters want to hear in all honesty.

Be back on later after checking rosters a couple more times  Happy

Evening guys.

I took the hot road-dog yesterday and it backfired. However, I've learnt nothing from that experience, so decided to do the same thing tonight by backing the Flyers against the Habs in Montreal.

There may well be little value in the price, what with the Flyers playing back-to-back, the Habs being in a good run of form themselves etc, but I'm going with Philly while they are hot (won 9 of their last 10, the only loss coming on the road to some mug team called the Caps).

HAYDEN - just pleased not to have been blocked Laugh

I know there is some history with the racing forum - best left imo, its tiresome and I GENUINELY cannot be bothered as this hockey has a lot going for it as a money making concern.  Elsewhere my other REAL love, Argie footy, has thrown up a belter tonight with neither Boca or River interested in winning - happy days.

I'm going knackers deep with a lay of Toronto - as the year goes on I hope you and Del will help me get rich Grin just amazed there is not more interest in the best spectator sport around

Welcome Harry , think it's the first time i've spotted you away from the NFL & Tennis threads tbh , NHL not everyone's cup of tea but that said if we all liked the same thing then life would be dishwater I guess , will be dropping in on Thursday to get your view on the Bears game.

Guess you're all sorted tonight guys so I wish you luck Happy

ye hi hayden feel ive missed so much of season
one of my kids broke his leg and have been staying at hospital with him for last 6 weeks havent had a bet or anything for ages, thankfully he back at home now ,so now will have to catch up
By:

Mixed as of late tbh Jordi. Made a very nice profit last night by feeling fairly certain that the Devils wouldn't do much offensively vs the Bruins. Ended up winning bets at odds 1.67, 3.00 and 8.50. Lost a chunk of the profit backing overs in Pittsburgh and LA Kings to win though.

However, tonight is a new night, and only one play on the board for me today. Happy

How about you?

Unlucky that JORDI hope he's ok , good night to get back into the swing tomorrow with 12 games , nothing changed mate just keep doing the sensible things from last season and don't be laying any big prices as it's still as unpredictable as ever if you don't check the past & future scheduling.

Good luck  Happy

Fair comment Harry , reminds me of my brotherly conversations about sport and the fact his knowledge is limited to Cricket & Soccer which coincidentally are two sports I can't abide to watch or consider punting , so we end up talking sex or politics , good luck tomorrow night  Happy

Sleep was a massive problem for me otherwise I would have followed my personal sports an awful lot closer if I didn't have to get up in the morning ( NHL , NFL , Tennis & Horse racing ) so I took the decision in Aug 2007 to quit work and go full time punting which mean't I could sleep when I choose , great decision as it turned out and love my current lifestyle & just the thought of going back into the rat race makes me feel ill in all honesty  Happy

NFL TENNIS RUGBY LEAGUE my main 3...little bit of NBA,NHL may well be added lol.

A great decision in terms of finance or just being out of the rat race?...i think the dolphins were aroun 5/6 home to the titans..they beat them...now they face the bearsConfused  21pts for miami should be enough...the price could be something to do with the QB issue..both got knocked out of the game.

Great decision for both reasons tbh , attained a high position within this industry so work has always equalled play so to speak but watching/punting after midnight was always an issue in the bad old days and that's really when my sporting day begins , sometimes have a kip for a couple of hours in the early evening whilst i'm waiting and luckily i've a very understanding wife.

I've actually ticked watching Rugby League in my profile box on here as I love the game , if i'm honest I do punt rugby but only when i'm advised to do so by ex-contacts aware of early injury news and motivational factors e.t.c , I use an API for the Horses and working on auto Tennis at the moment which will make my life easier , probably get banned for saying it but I don't use Betfair as a punting option but only for small research bets , for punting I can virtually always get better value across a number of European bookmakers and despite what you read about restrictions e.t.c it's easy to get on if you grow the network to suit your needs and apply common sense.

Good luck later  Happy
