Sometimes it has to be greedy but I still have learnt a lesson and no harm done allthough Bruins is leading 2-0 already. Trashers and Coyotes also leading by 1-0 so no reason to complain..[;)]

3-0 Trashers. Bad mistake by Devils' coach was put Brodeur between the pipes. Hedberg would have caused more harm.

Labarbera has been solid in Coyotes' net in 1st period. Isles shots 19-8 but Coyotes leading 1-0pp. I still have a strong feeling we are going over5.5 in this game. I know NYI is not a perfect team to trust especially scoring much goals but somehow I do think Lawson allows at least 3-4goals tonight as PHX cycling starting to roll. Their trip to NY area has not started well so far and to be honest if the shot statistic remains near the same the next couple of periods their trip is begin to start a souvenir trip.

Wow, it's the best possible situation there thinking a scenario Coyotes has to start to play for real not just playing defensively. Isles' Joensuu(1+1) has been a pleasant surprise by far. Hometeam has been better team as well but Labarbera have made some spectacular saves including taking all the basic saves excluding surely a couple ones of course.

Leafs has also played well against Canucks who did not even score in their 4mns pp. However, they scored after that pp nice counter attack goal by Hansen showing their team is not just resting on the shoulders of Sedin twins. Too bad Leafs has not scored so far they definitely has been lots of great chances to do that. It will be great 3rd period there that's for sure. Gustavsson really love to challenge all the 3 of his Swedish rivals and plays always much better as he's number one goalie (he is that for sure now as Giguere is injured).

Btw, it's 4-1 for Trashers after 2nd. It's still a long way to go Kovalchuk would be the best player of this game. [;)] He has scored their lonely goal by far. Even Hedberg has taken in the net after 3 goals and he has been much better on ice than Brodeur tonight. Seriously speaking Devils has not been any chances after Trashers' 2nd & 3rd goals..

3-2 for NYI. Very rare pp goal for Isles(scored 3 times in their last 58pp's).

Ty HAYDEN. It was too close though. NYI is really bad pp team at the moment. They should have scored easily 2-3 more goals in regulation. Fortunately I did not have to wait too long the other one: Trashers was awesome tonight or should I say Devils was as lousy as yesterday against Preds. As I wrote then it all shows in their game they don't have self confidence to challenge the most of their rivals anymore nowadays and Brodeur is not that goalie we have used to see him. Yesterday's paper to be honest.

I also had a bit of luck on livebetting (VAN v TOR) but don't want to take any drama here writing on it. You know it's so easy to write on them(bets) afterwards. Everyone is a pro then.

Anyway, it was a priviledge to chat and share comments here once again!

These div rival meetings between these two teams are usually too close to call especially IF both Finnish goalies are on the ice. No bet for me just watching.

HAYDEN - you were right once again as you were warning on Caps game. Even though Caps did lose again they tried to change direction at least: 3rd period shots 26-2 in awaygame at BOS tells something relevant to me. Surely it was not the easiest task to continue their game after trailing 0-3. They did it allthough they lost 8th consecutive time. Mr.Brodeur must be some relief - even a bit even though a loss is always a loss no matter what.

Another interesting thing was Caps did not have to play any PK's. That's another good thing on their game.

Yes i've left this Flames game alone in the end so just watching , agree with Caps so let's see what happens in Ottawa tomorrow and you can feel a backlash coming soon when everything clicks , not sure when though  Happy

True. Perhaps the missing peace is Semin who was still out tonight. I remember also Ovechkin has been lots of bad luck during that losing streak as puck control of his is not working as it usually does: several shots of him has hit the posts and gone wide of the net but sometimes it's not just luck it's also reflecting on all what you're doing when you're not mentally 100% on game. 90% concentration means 50% effectivity on ice etc. Anyway, it's obvious just like you mensioned, HAYDEN, Caps will come back soon. Now, we just have to guess who's the victim. Happy

Only couple of questions about Caps' game what I think should have to take very concern..

At first, their losing streak is pretty long at the moment which makes lots and lots of pressure on them in every area.

The second, we remember a couple of games not only a week ago where even better(at the moment) teams played very awesome 3rd period (Habs at Wings beating them 19-3 in shots, 1-1 scores - this not happen very often in JLA believe me; Lightning at Oilers 17-1 in shots, 1-0 scores) but did not find the same momentum next night in their another b2b-game. Habs was out of balance at Leafs next day. Only Lightning won after OT at Canucks. I took a one relevant point then why Canucks was not in their best and that was celebrities (the man of that night was their former captain Naslund)what took place before the game..

Anyway, my point is a flow they had last night in 3rd period only will not necessary last the next game. I know Caps played pretty ok last night in 3rd at Bruins beating them shot 26-2 but only won that period 1-0. The more concern is definitely theis losing streak. I am not want to say they don't have a chance. Also not going to say Caps is not a worth of trying. I hate say only the price is not enough for them to me. I wonder why Sens is not a favourite as they should be in my opinion.

Anyway, good luck to all.

Btw, Wings has been amazing difficulties in 1st period against Stars. Not very often they have spoiled the game at home after leading by 2 goals. 2-2 for now after 1st and Stars has taken their momentum.

Interesting thoughts ND and you could easily be proved correct , hate to sound boring once again though by saying the Caps games have to be a swerve at the moment until their form & luck level out , the spark will be undoubtedly be ignited by one of their MVP's rather than a team effort and it'll spiral from there , for that to happen you would imagine both Ovechkin and Semin would need to be on the ice but at time of writing there's no telling when that might be , until then they'll need to grind it out or alternatively someone needs to be inspired overnight and support AO , before that happens though we would only be guessing so the gig is best left alone in my view.

Great 1st period at the Joe and Stars fast becoming a difficult team to both play against and indeed beat these days , good to see  Happy

Colorado to batter Montreal tonight.

On Stars in 60 - that goal was like a knife in the heart after the way they have played since going 2 down.

Long way to go yet though, goodnight and good luck

A bit of disappointing game. Not because of seeing OT but such so many golden opportunities missed by two top-teams. Stars would have earned more in regulation. On the other hand Wings had better opportunities to score so called easy goals but they were not sharp enough though.

Great win that for Stars and with 5 out of 6 home games to come this year , including Wings next week , you'd have to think they'll be conference leaders come the new year

IMO well deserved win for Stars in OT. Just like HAYDEN wrote they are difficult team to beat. They were never leading except scoring a game winner. Don't have stats here to read but if I remember correct they have been excellent team to win one goal margin games this season and this one was a nice proof for it. Happy

Yes. Caps have been as bad as usual lately. Hitting a post once again - as usual lately. They need Semin back to their roster desperately. Ovechkin can't rise that team another level by himself all alone I think.
By:
Nursultan Dorkamoglu
When: 20 Dec 10 00:14
That game seems to go over 5.5 but it requires 1-2goals at least by Caps the next 3 periods. They scored 1sec or half one too late in 1st.
By:
Hayden
When: 20 Dec 10 00:17
That's why their luck needs to level out as well , that no goal just before the break must be a heart breaker and typical of the patch they're in at the moment
By:
Nursultan Dorkamoglu
When: 20 Dec 10 00:17
So, nothing new there. Even the luck is not on their side nowadays. This is still quite open game. I hope to see Caps scoring the next goal cutting Sens' lead in half so we might see the whole different game then. If the next goal scores by Sens this one is practically game over then for Caps. Simply as that.Happy

Nice start on 2nd for Caps. They really were pissed off because that disallowed goal in the last second in 1st. It all shows in their 1st shift of the 2nd.
