I've already lumped on this at 5/6. Can anyone give reasons as to why it might be a bad bet?

Matt Moore has been useless up to now this season and whilst Panthers two running backs are talented they've hardly been firing this season. Bengals had one of the best run D's last season and were solid against the run last week vs the talented Ray Rice not letting any TD's in on the ground. They've got new offensive threats, racking up a few points against Pats. They found it a bit tough against the Ravens but who doesn't and still managed to win a hard fought game. I think Panthers will be in the bottom 6 worst teams this year while Bengals will reach the play offs. -3 Looks a gift.

Also think Redskins -3.5 may be worth backing vs Rams.

Without getting into the pros and cons of why it might be a bad bet or otherwise, it's a bad bet because better than 5/6 is available at probably the most obvious site for NFL betting.

Well I can only bet at one site. Sort of limited.

Matt Moore isn't starting Jimmy Clausen is and granted he may not be particuarlly good on his full debut but can he be any worse than Moore...it is unlikely. Also the points against the Patriots where when the Patriots were playing in a prevent D so were letting them march down the field as long as they didn't do it too quickly.

To be honest think I would rather take the Panthers with the points (+3.5) at home will be a close low scoring game and may only be a touchdown in it.

Redskins -3.5 against the Rams is a much better bet expect a big day again for McNabb and Portis could easily rush for 100 yards as well.

Never even heard of them. Might open an account since NFL only thing I really bet on these days.

Not sure why I asked opinions for my bet as I've already made my mind up Bengals are decent and Panthers are poor. I like to live and die by my own opinion no matter how bad it may prove to be. :-)

if  you wanted to win 1k with a bookie @5/6 you would have to bet 1200
at pinnacle @-117 you would place 1170 to win 1k .
saving you 30 sheets if bet goes tits up

Followed you in. Pretty much the worst performance by a WINNING qb that I've ever seen.
Report enjbenjy September 26, 2010 10:11 PM BST
Yeah pretty much dominated the possession and I think I am right about the Panthers being awful. I don't think I'll be in a hurry to back Bengals against anyone decent given that offensive performance.
