whilst orioles does a good job with the thankless task that is organising all the fantasy leagues he seems to have become a bit of a grumpy mad dictator about the leagues and will not accomodate change even if all the other players in the league want it. (the 6 team playoff issue in the vets league for example)
so i decided to create a slightly different league. if anyones interested in joining let me know and we'll get it up and running. i was thinking £25 entry to create a nicer prizepool.
main variations from standard:
6pt passing td's
0.5pt per reception
normal roster + 2 IDP's (Independant defensive players)
2 extra bench slots
6 teams make the playoffs with 2 first round byes
draft order randomized by espn 1 hour before the draft (not manually manipulated by orioles)

waiver order would also be move to last after claim not worst team gets first choice every week

On a serious note: the manual setting on the draft order is an anomaly - it was automatically set by the site, but because we're allowing pick trading, it lists it as manually set by the comish - it wasn't.
point taken about the draft order o, it just looked a bit suspicious.

Buddy, I would, but I'm into double figures with leagues this season and I always believe that if you join a league, you try all the way.

apparently it's a champions privilage, or being well in with the real bosses of BF fantasy sports (zeeny and J)

ONCE AGAIN, the leagues aren't on merit, ladies, they're put together on the basis of who likes to play in what league.
I can swap you two around if you'd like.
Dunny can join the veteran's league (the name is ironic) with ron nasty (that name is not!) moving to league B; I don't mind.

Well, if Jeter and Zeeny insist, I'll have no choice.

might be interested if I can make the draft also would you be interested in using FAAB?
dunny - snake draft, as for IDP's we'll see what the majority want when (if) we get a full league
buckio - i like the idea of FAAB (had to google it as i haven't played with it before) but i don't think espn supports it and i much prefer playing on espn over yahoo

ESPN definately supports FAAB so wouldn't be a problem
Definately can't do 6th or 8th as I'm drafting in the other betfair leagues and can see those dates being a problem for others as well

found it buckio. changed waivers to FAAB. if there are any objections we can have a vote on it.

I'm drafting for the keeper league on the 7th, so n can do i'm afraid
I can draft on any of those dates but looks like they may be problematic for most?
