Yes, Howie Kendrick home run... still think there should be challenges for strike calls though?
some ridiculous bad calls during that game. laa were robbed of a walk-in run in one of the innings, can't remember which one.
Yes but if managers could challenge strike calls games would just take too long, bad calls go for both teams...
Matsui had two strikes call balls to lead off the ninth, including ball four. The strike zone was tiny all night, hence the high number of runs.
got a lump on texas at 3.3, then bases loaded 1 out but nothing

I'm on Under 8.5, still just alive, but not looking good. Also backed the Rangers, but in that terrible position of not being able to win both.
I'll take a 5-3 result, but I fear both my bets will lose. Certainly need to get Morneau out here.

A sudden downpour I'd accept too, and I'm sure you would too. The totals bet would be void and the Twins would be settled as winners. Sadly doesn't look likely either.

Just been one of those days on the MLB, never mind.
They were clearly favourites, but the odds were too low all things considered. I quite liked the Rangers' chances, favourites have a shocking record on SNB over the past few years.

I layed mostly around 1.73 . 1.8 was probably the fair price pre-game IMO.
Well it's not looking good for the Rangers, but nothing to say they can't suddenly score several. Unlikely of course.
I wouldn't like to have backed 1.01 when all it takes is a home run to tie it, with the bigger hitters due up next.
