it looks crazy 14.5 so everyone goes for unders but it smells like a trap to me
Report curlywurly April 30, 2010 7:21 PM BST
not often you'll get under 14.5 at odds against
Report curlywurly April 30, 2010 7:22 PM BST

Report skyblues April 30, 2010 7:23 PM BST

Report capone89 April 30, 2010 7:24 PM BST

Report Mr Lizard April 30, 2010 7:30 PM BST

Report enjbenjy April 30, 2010 7:37 PM BST
Any old fly ball should be getting out of there with that wind, look at last night's score
Report capone89 April 30, 2010 7:39 PM BST
Up to now : 10 AB, 7 gound ball, 2 strike out and 1 pop out. Seems that pitchers will keep the ball low.
Report Mr Lizard April 30, 2010 7:41 PM BST
overs now need 2.14 runs per innings!
Report Mr Lizard April 30, 2010 7:42 PM BST
last night game the wind was blowing out to right

Report Mr Lizard April 30, 2010 9:15 PM BST
well done espn, miss the 7th innings take me out the ball game!
Report Mr Lizard April 30, 2010 9:31 PM BST
well done overs backers, you've got very lucky here, aboput 5 runs have been due to the weather the rest have been thanks to errors and poor pitching like this clown boyer walking the team!
Report fawwon April 30, 2010 9:34 PM BST
Welcome to the world of totals
Report enjbenjy April 30, 2010 9:36 PM BST
Errrr, 5 runs due to the weather.

OK, well that would mean a normal run line of 9.5, which can go either way and one of the things you would consider would be the quality of the team's defence and of course, pitching.

Am i missing something? Don't think anyone expected all 15 runs to be purely due to the weather
Report Jeter April 30, 2010 9:38 PM BST
the total is mainly due to the wind, with those starting pitchers in normal stadium circumstances you'd be looking at 10.5 max.
Report Mr Lizard April 30, 2010 9:39 PM BST
what a fkin embarrassment dbacks, absolute shambles pitching staff
Report Mr Lizard April 30, 2010 9:39 PM BST
enjbenjy

your missing alot.
Report enjbenjy April 30, 2010 9:44 PM BST
Which is?

All I see is someone moaning about losing an overs bet in baseball because of poor pitching. As if that's something they shouldn't account for as part of the bet. On top of this, they acknowledge that the weather has been worth 5 runs through 7 innings but can't acknowledge they made the wrong bet.

What else is there that I'm not seeing then?

lol get your hard hat ready
Report Jeter April 30, 2010 9:49 PM BST
youll find that cubs home game totals are posted much later than other games purely because Vegas wanting to know how the wind is going to be blowing. Its a huge factor in Wrigley field games but one that the linemakers are fully aware of.
Report omgdoveman April 30, 2010 9:59 PM BST

If Soriano and Soto can get it out, you know you're in trouble :)
