some amazing stuff going on tonight

By:
Habs....
By:
id like to say its desevered but it isnt in the slightest, a team relying solely on amazing fortune and a goalie
By:
think the pens would miss an empty net if given the chance
By:
another lucky save
By:
Looks like I am going to be relying on a empty netter.
By:
this one's over, pens wouldnt score if they had another 60mins v this incredibly gifted halak, however play another 60mins and pens would concede probably 3 or 4 thats the difference in these games, habs rely on halak soley and the opposing goalie playing garbage which seems to keep happening

By:
*scratches head* how the did I not get a 6th goal in that....
By:
halak the hero and all that, bubble will burst soon, he's a back up end of and on a incredible lucky run.

Consolation looks like the Wings will win and my over 1.5 goals in the 1st cashed. So an ok night but really should have been better.

Would be very interesting if Wings can take game 5, only twice in NHL history has a team come from 3-0 down to win a series.

Evening guys. Looking forward to a great nights viewing. I am always loathe to back the favourites, especially when backing the outsiders blind would have returned a healthy level stakes profit during these playoffs. But tonight I am playing a Flyers/Canucks money line double.
Bruins/Flyer games so far have all been about Rask, he has looked unbeatable but I think he has had some luck and Flyers have not done enough in front of the net. Think that will be rectified this time and the Bruins are looking more and more banged with 4 key defence men out. At 3-0 I think Bruins take the foot of the gas and flyers will win this in front of the home fans. Game 2 is more tricky but I believe that if Van and avoid getting drawn into silly penalties they can take this. That wont be easy with the 250lbs of Byfuglien all over Luongo but they need to play smart. Realistically this is a must win for Vancouver and with a very motived Kessler hopefully returning to the 1st line with the Sedins I am hoping for a fast start to get the crowd into it and see it home. Good Luck with your picks. Warning: I am hugely biased to the Canucks so my rationale if likely way off ![]() |

Flyers-1.5 for me.

Evening guys
Couldn't disagree with any of that swardean and that was my thinking last night for very similar reasoning , the Flyers tonight are in an identical position to Wings last night and we may see something similar in that Flyers play without fear as they feel they have nothing to lose now with no expectations and Bruins will do a " Sharks " and psychologically start dreaming about game 5 on Monday. Fairly sure the late game will bear little resemblance to the other night's and there's a certain mentality about game 4 when trailing on home ice that leads me to believe Canucks will roar back tonight and tie the series , the play-offs for me are not about previous form , home ice or any of the other stats used for the regular season but down to selecting the right coaching strategy to suit the situation and the big names showing their value. Betting wise was planning to make Canucks moneyline my only bet over the last couple of nights but thought about the Wings and Flyers with their do or die situation and played a moneyline treble of Wings/Flyers/Canucks @ 6.18 ( bookmakers )so if Flyers win that'll be great and waiting for Canucks last leg , if Flyers don't win i'll place the Canucks moneyline bet I was going to play anyway. Good luck to all. |

Despite the losses of key players I except the Bruins to complete the sweep tonight. Having a little fun tonight, no serious bets. Small stakes parlay over the Hockey and MLB.
1 TOR @ CWS (Backing White Sox (M Buehrle) @ 1.88) 2 NYY @ BOS (Backing Yankees (P Hughes) @ 1.9) 3 CHC @ CIN (Backing Cubs (C Silva) @ 2.07) 4 Boston @ Philadelphia (Game 4) - Money Line (Inc. OT) (Backing Boston Bruins @ 2.18) 5 Chicago @ Vancouver (Game 4) - Regular Time Goals (Backing Over 6.5 Goals @ 2.69) @45.44 |

Have been looking at the White Sox all day. Still haven't decided whether to go in yet. Hope you get a good run for your money gray.
By:
The White Sox is probably my strongest "feeling" out the 5 which probably means it's the one that screws it

Disappointing to concede first with arguable the best scoring chances. History of this series suggest it is a long way back for the flyers. Having said that ages to go and all to play for.
Actually a goal may break the tension and help flyers play with more freedom. |
By:
Wow that was fast!!
By:
great response

3-1 go Flyers
By:
Booooooo

By:
3-2 , really good game now
By:
Yes enjoying it. All to play for in the 3rd. Boucher needs to step up I blame him for both goals.
OT then a flyers winner would be nice to take us up to start of canucks game. |
By:
I fear for the Flyers mentality if they give up the tieing goal early - well actually I don't since I am on the Bruins -, they could quite easily just gave up hope after enjoying a 2 goal lead.
By:
Ok so they didn't give up

Saw you on the golf forum, how you looking on the players. I only ever bet on NHL, NFL, Golf and Horse racing. I shouldnt really bother on the horses and I bleed money especially on the flat.
My picks for the players were Mickelson, Crane and Harrington but my staking was so off I dont break eaven unless Crane wins or Phil places. A tournement to forget. I'm a sucker for phil though, especially after the masters. |
By:
massive credit to Bruins though gray , could easily have thrown the towel at 3-1 like Sharks last night
By:
4-4 wow
