Well done sharks got the goals in the 1st and the Wings tried to recover but just didn't quite get there. This series looking like a great match up. Looking forward to watching our local lad Sidney and the Pens vs Habs tonight.

Morning guys
To save posting no bet every day as always no bet until game 3 for me and that means midnight on Tuesday , will be posting and watching every game though and do have the 11.25 for a Pens v Sharks final as discussed which has a decent chance. gray Did you place the 10.8 bet for a Pens v Hawks final , forgot to ask you ?????????? |

What a terrible call on the penalty against Franzen, what the hell was that?
I had some on Sharks at the start of the season and also some on Philly when they were going through their rough patch at 33's I think it was(posted it way back somewhere) |

Did you place the 10.8 bet for a Pens v Hawks final , forgot to ask you ?????????? ............. Yes mate, although got slighty less odds from 365. |

Pens/Habs tonight, I might give it a swerve like the Wings game last night. 1st couple of games in the series are always a pain in the ass to call.

what will happen with Backstrom? Staying at Caps?
|
|
By:
Rajeev says:
April 28th, 2010 at I would expect that Backstrom comes in at somewhere between $7.5MM and $8.25MM annually on a five year deal. If the Caps were willing to do that, the contract would have been signed and announced long ago. That contract is simply not happening. Since the time the parties started negotiating (sometime in the fall is our best guess), Backstroms play, the effects of OV notwithstanding (which I think everyone on the planet realizes that his numbers are inflated playing with OV), has certainly upped the ante from the 6M x 6yrs the Caps probably initially optimistically penciled him in at before the season, but I imagine theyre still thinking just south of 7M on a 5-7 year deal, and closer to 6.5 on a long term deal (10-13 years) that is heavily front loaded and provides good present value financial return to Backy and a nice cap hit for the team. I think some of the unsavory underpinnings of this post are along the line of |

He'd love it in Detroit ;)

Nothing in the odds for me except Montreal in OT but that said I think with only 48 hours rest since their last game and Pens rested up, I struggle to see them winning tonight even if I argued Habs have some momentum to going into the game. Pens should win but odds to low for me.

I don't really put much emphasis on the rest facotr at this stage of the season, it only seems to play a part earlier in the season, if it was a B2B then maybe, but 2 days rest is more than enough imo. No play for me tonight, I'm leaning towards unders though.

The rest factor is a big consideration for the Flyers tomorrow , it can work both ways tbh and hard to evaluate

think apart from Sidney this Matt Cooke would be the 2nd worse loss for Pens , absolute lunatic and tbh lucky not to get a 3 month ban after the incident earlier in the year , when Evander Kane flattened him in Atlanta I think the entire league rejoiced , definitely the most disliked player outside Pittsburgh but induces many valuable pp's for Pens which are overlooked when he's sitting in the penalty box himself...........great asset
