We think we worked it out that we got 195 points which is tied 2nd with poker 2....

however our team captain super Mcnabb finished 18th while there captain finsihed 159th which means we should get 2nd place and $200 each.

I just hope I aint wrong now cos I probably got your hopes up for nothing :D

Scoring

Only your top 5 players count. The points they gain depend on finishing position. The points scored by top 5 players in each team added to give team total.

1st - 100pts
2nd - 95pts
3rd - 90pts
4th - 85pts
5th - 80pts
6th - 75pts
7th- 70pts
8th - 65pts
9th - 60pts

10-14th - 55pts
15-18th - 50pts
19-23rd - 45pts
24-27th - 40pts
28-32th - 35pts
33-36th - 30pts
37-45th - 25pts
46-54th - 20pts
55-63rd - 15pts
64-72nd - 10pts
73-81st - 05pts
Rest - Zippo

In the event of a tie between any teams finishing on same points. they will be separated by the highest position between their captains.


So we should be 2nd :)

if the earlier table was right, ive worked it out from that an i get the same. has anyone worked it out completely from scratch just incase that early table was wrong??

Many of the other teams appear to have professional players, people who have actually played in or won live European Poker Tour events.

I suspect we may be outsiders when the event is priced up.



For these pessimistic comments, Fenway has been penalised all of his winnings and this will be shared through the other 9 players!!!

i dont remember much of it, all seemed to go so fast. i havent a clue how i got 28th i felt like i was clinging on for dear life most of the game. i just kept looking at the leaderboard to see how many were left an thinking right if i can just make the top 100, then it was the top 75, then 50, then 30.

i think quite a few of us were doing that, trying to eke out some points lol!

just goes to show what can happen if you never give in, bit o' the old dunkirk spirit! :^0

Zach I didn't say we wouldn't do well, just that we were outsiders. I never lost confidence in our boys, not once !!

MInd you I probably should be fined my undeserved winnings for being the first man out to that sucker punch, getting beat by a paltry Royal Flush.

Great fun, watching the ups and downs for three hours. Hope they do it again, even if zeeny is selected in my place.

Rookie of the Year - sideshowbob (no comment required here really, a stunning performance)
Gold Gloves - soggy (could easily have made the final table except for a shockingly bad beat)
- noognoog (up there all the way, tough as nails in a crisis)

Fireman of the Year - orioles (came in to save the day, the biggest hose in the game)

Honorable mentions - 13aller - quietly efficient all evening, a true team man
- kcchamp - last minute replacement for dierdre hung on and nearly got in the points
- Phaid - our expert gave sage advice throughout

I am in a drukrn haze at present and had forgot all about this event, mut I do remember it, and we did very well ifg memory serves me right, I think I managed last 20 or even final table and we as a team came 2nd or 3rd.

Would be good to do it all again especially live say dat before WSOPE at the Empire
