just played 2 games, 5 dollar game with 6 players i finished 2nd and a 2 dollar game with 12 players i finished 2nd again.
so im not total pants, just a bit of a newbie (only been playing 2 years) |

Many of the other teams appear to have professional players, people who have actually played in or won live European Poker Tour events.

I much prefer live poker sideshow. You play with *****and put your mney in a pot but the thing i love is the banter. I find that i drift off whislt playing online and end up looking at japanese midget porn a lot of the time.
I play at a casino in bristol a couple of times a month and was fortunate to win once and take down 700! Cant beat live poker! I think we will be ok Fen, I know there are some pros playing but i know for a fact that a few on this team can play. You are right though we will be outsiders. Be sweet if one of us could make it to the final table. Going to be about 200 entrants i believe though so will deffo be tough. As long as i dont bust out early im going to enjoy it lol. Note to self: I must not chase!! |

i think i may find it hard to not jump up an down though lol, its pretty cool when you know someone is trying to bully you with a top pair an you hit a full house or a flush. sometimes you just know that a check is going to draw in a massive bet. i couldnt do that live lol id be a dead giveaway!

i can never understand when ppl bet pre-flop then nothing comes out so they firm up their bet. incredibly risky think to do. i had that earlier today, two tens came out an i had a ten. he put in a bigger bet so i called (didnt want to go all-in, wanted to make it look like i was chasing a flush) then he put in an even bigger bet. it was the easiest trap ever. i really cant be doing with putting in lumpy bets when ive hit nothing and someone else keeps calling

Its called a continuation bet, origanal better betting on a TT board is OK but once he is flay called I would agree mad to raisethe Turn unless he has at least trip TTTs beat. |
