nah, if pressed still go with Saints, put this down to a reaction to the Giants game last week, imo.
Don't see the Vik's doing it, it would be a hell of a story tho.

yeah, my theory of course, but last week was such a hyped game and they played so well that this week was bound to be a let down, or are you saying the Dolphins are the best team they have met so far?

Nothing wrong with the D today, the O-line was outplayed first half and Dolphins got excellent field position with turnovers. Saints D decent this year.

STAND BY THE POST...you think a team that gives up 34 points to the ONE DIMENSIONAL dolphins has a legitimate shot at the superbowl??...please....pats would crush them.

Can't SEE anyone out-scorring them, ....That's the S A I N T" S off cause, even if you hold them to just : 35 point's ~~~ you Still have to score 36 Yourself . Colt's would have to be the Only DANGER ,

Peyton has been sacked twice this season. Says something about his protection! Saints look a good shout from the NFC, probably between them and NFC north teams for the championship I'm not sold on Az at all, you can't be giving up that many yards through the air every week and be the conferences best. NFC east is already looking a bit ordinary (despite the pundits still calling it the best division in football)

The Saints will come unstuck against someone in the play-offs. We see it time after time in all sports. Great teams who score for fun and smash the opposition eventually have a bad day where everything fails and the unthinkable happens. Look at the Pats v NYG '07.
Saints will lose to a team which has great D and can control the clock by running the ball thus limiting Brees' time to score.
I will predict that probably Vikes will be that team to beat the Saints in the Championship Game. Good D and great run game, expected to control the clock and can score big points as well because they can also make big plays on both sides of the ball!
GO VIKES GO!!

They deserve the Season they are having , Best of Luck to them. May they Stay injury Free - as they had their injuries last year.
You have to like a Quarter Back that when thing's go wrong - Pick's himself Up , & GO'S Again = Drew Brees

because they lost a meaningless game without their best defensive player and their #1 CB? ridiculous argument. still the 2nd best team in the league. jog on

well it wasnt meaningless was it...they didnt know the vikings were going to lose.....they were outplayed....you cant use the excuse of a CB being injured...every team is hampered by injury....they are still a huge threat v anyone....shockey to come back also...silly thread title tbf...i still think they will lose out

My view is that they have prepaird for Every possibility, the loss confirm's that they have the abillity even when luck is against you & go's the way of a determined Oppossition. Bring's them all back from GOD like status to Focused hard working Tallented Guy's. best of luck to them. Reality is they could have easily scored 2 more TD's in that game, reversing the loss into their 14th win. * Expect a Very Polished Saint's in the Play off's.

Pats - moving along nicely when it matters Eagles - look ominous Colts - Can they be beaten? Dallas - have already had the saints number once before Vikes - Better overall team Chargers - The saints at their best, but on crack Cardinals - Better QB and coach
I would honestley make them about 6th faves at this stage.

Saints QB Drew Brees named SN's offensive player of the year Sporting News
Share For the second straight season, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is Sporting News' NFL offensive player of the year, as selected by a panel of 636 players, coaches and executives.
Brees received 299 first-place votes from the 583 players polled. Titans running back Chris Johnson was second with 166.
Brees in 2009 didn't come close to matching his 5,069 passing yards from 2008, but he did throw just as many touchdowns (34) and six fewer interceptions. He also led the league in passer rating (109.6), set an NFL record for completion percentage (70.6) and became a local legend in a city not known for winning football.

Harry - I did, no joke. I could provide evidence that would hold up in court.
My early season prediction was off, but I realised that God was pulling the strings (see: devil pulling the strings for pittsburgh last year) and that the saints were the side to be with.
See you for the draft Harry, I am taking a well earned rest from this forum.
