most nfl Qb's look good when they are given enough time to pass. the good ones find a way to get it done when under pressure, which is where romo falls down
Report all along January 17, 2010 7:54 PM GMT
if he cannot throw under pressure he is finished as a qtr back
Report sc1883 January 17, 2010 7:55 PM GMT
one bad game hardly means he should retire (which is what this thread headline suggests). how come when Dallas lose, Romo is the only one who gets slated?
Report FORZA AS ROMA January 17, 2010 7:55 PM GMT
He is one of the good(but not great QB's) along with many QB's in the NFL atm
Report casemoney January 17, 2010 7:56 PM GMT
Brown Pants needed for the Big games ,Romo is a Bottle Merchant and
has been for the last few seasons ..Stupidly Thought he might Hold it
together to-day :-(

like i said. when things are going your way, sure have him in there racking the numbers up. when the going gets tough, watch out!!!

same old rubbish being talked,
a decent but not elite QB who for some reason (presumably the fact that he's the only name the average poster these days can remember) - takes the blame when Dallas lose.
Report robbing_ROBIN January 17, 2010 7:58 PM GMT
i thought he had turned the corner to cease, had a smallish bet on them today. some players just don't have the stones for the big occasions, and i'm affraid romo is one of those
Report sc1883 January 17, 2010 7:59 PM GMT
the going got tough in Philly & New Orleans in must win games and he came up good. He had a bad game tonight and badly let down protection wise tonight. Its hardly reason for him to be finished!

If he was going to lead the cowboys to a superbowl this was his year ,
he has hardly set the place alight this afternoon FFS..

Pants Shat Again ...
Report sc1883 January 17, 2010 8:04 PM GMT
your talking through your pocket mate. just cos you have lost a few quid your looking for someone to blame. And Romo is the easy target. Where was D Ware 2 nite? Where was Brooking? Where was Williams, Where was Jenkins? Where was Sensabaugh on the 1st TD
? Theres more than a QB on a team
Report casemoney January 17, 2010 8:07 PM GMT
I may be talking through my pocket but after a performance like to-day Think im entitled to ,agree not a one man team ,pop onto a cowboys forum I know who they will be blaming ,same ole year in year out ,thankfully
not a fan :-)
Report sc1883 January 17, 2010 8:09 PM GMT
i am a dallas fan and sometimes in the past i have blamed romo but not tonight. You have to give the Vikings credit, they played awesome tonight.
Report casemoney January 17, 2010 8:14 PM GMT
I agree played very well ,Romo should have brought a bed with him
spent a lot of time on his back ;-)
Report punkha1 January 17, 2010 8:19 PM GMT
Should have maybe thrown the ball away a few times but got no protection so cant really blame him.
