certainly not basketball

i would say baseball and football, with college football being at least as popular as NFL, and college basketball being more popular than NBA. ice hockey is not even close.

Football by miles, if you've ever been to America during the Football season you will know that it absolutely dominates TV coverage ahead of MLB/NBA etc. The only way you could have Baseball on top is by "total attendance" which is because they play 162 games each.

Baseball is slightly ahead of Basketball judging by the viewing figures for the World Series/NBA Finals. Ice Hockey is way behind and only a matter of time before Soccer overtakes it.

NFL (by miles)
College Football
Baseball (players salaries have nothing to do with it, they just play more games)
NBA and College Basketball tied
NHL (way behind in US but clear Number one in Canada)

taking coast to coast into consideration, wouldn't you have College rated over NFL?

Or atleast the gap is almost negligible.
