as far as i can see no the giants cant win the division. theyd need all 3 to finish 10-6 then games between all 3 teams would be 2-2 then down to division record and philly and giants would be 4-2, dallas 3-3 so eliminated. so then down to philly and new york and philly win the tiebreaker.
By:
though 4 bookies seem to think they can lol
By:
I know.... dirty scoundrels.

Washington beat Dallas.... Philly beat Denver.... end of.

If Den and Dal both beat Phi
NYG win out Wash beat Dallas We get: PHI 10-6 (4-2) DAL 10-6 (3-3) NYG 10-6 (4-2) [i]Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format). Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs). Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. [i] The Giants losses came to: Saints (Philly also lost) , Philly twice (which I have no idea if it counts as common ,but I think it doesn't as it's in the HTH section), Denver (Philly also lost), Chargers (Philly also lost) Philly lost to: Oakland (Giants beat, Dallas beat) , Saints (Giants also lost), Chargers (NYG also lost), Dallas twice (likely not common games, see rule one), Denver (giants also lost) Dallas lost to: Giants twice (not common?), Denver (everyone lost to), Packers (others didn't play), Chargers (Everyone lost), Redskins (might not count due to division, but nobody else lost to). Which i think means philly are eliminated and we then go to rule one of the head to head procedure, which means NYG go through on head-to-head 2-0 I could be wrong :p Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. |
By:
Wait, Dallas get eliminated at step two, so im wrong, ignore the huge waffle above :D

By:
I see the division panning out like this:
Week 15: Giants beat Skins Week 16: Eagles beat Broncos / Cowboys beat Skins / Giants beat Panthers At this stage it looks like Eagles 11-4 Cowboys 10-5 Giants 9-6 with Eagles @ Cowboys and Giants @ Vikings in Week 17 If Eagles beat Cowboys and Giants beat Vikings then Cowboys are out and Eagles get 2nd seed in NFC |
By:
No reason to believe the Giants can win one more game, let alone 3.
By:
:D
By:
peyton gets injured goodbye???? :^0 doh...brady gets injured goodbye brees injured goodbye silly thing to say... as for the other guy calling them a vile side lololol...jesus yep they are shocking arent they but the teams around 11-3 9-5 are world beaters... i give up
By:
you give up...good
By:
Eh ... ok
We are talking about the same Giants who lost by 1 score in a shoot-out last week and beat the Cowboys the week before. Played crap the previous week against Denver but 1 bad game in about 5 weeks doesn't make them a bad team. They may not turn up again in one of their matches but they have nothing to fear from their 3 remaining games if they play anyways decent at all. |
By:
Birdieforthewin
Dallas Sqeaked a 7-6 win lesss then a month back against Redskins since when we have been playing better, what price will you lay Redskins at? |
By:
giants have looked better each week even in defeat to the eagles
By:
Yes those Giants which have lost 6 of their last 8 games and has a defense which is BROKEN.
