I dont think a season goes by without controversial calls AGAINST the Patriots in season defining games. NEVER ever FOR them.
No other team has this problem so is it something else?
Mike Carlson was spot on the money, when discussing the pass interfernce call, ONLY in Indianapolis and ONLY for Manning. I applaud him for probaley be the only presenter with the balls to say it how it is
What a surprise NO single official could see that the Colt player stopped his move when trying to catch the ball, but once again a terrible pass interferance call against the Patriots is the outcome.
Faulk clearly had posession in the air when he was coming down with the ball, and whilst it may not have been for a first down, to say he only had full posession when he hit the ground was a joke. The officials couldn't belive there luck. Pratically had orgasms with the air movements indicating he was juggling.

still making up for all the defensive holding and pass interference they got away with in the 2004 Colts playoff game - the one that lead to a reassertion of such penalties)... not to mention the 2002 superbowl vs the Rams....but yeah always goes against the Pats ;)

you may find the use of a calculator to be useful in all other instances like this and they dont cost a lot of money nowadays.
As for everyone else, when even a respected pundit like Carlson says they were **ed it perhaps could well be that more than just Pats fans noticed it?

isn't Mike a Patriots fan himself ? (though I'm not suggesting that would impact his view).
mr milk i honestly thought the Superbowl win by the Steelers over the Seahawks totally eclipsed anything that has happened to the Pats, i couldn't quite belive what my eyes were watching that night, one of the blackest nights in living memory for the NFL...But as long as 'The Bus' got his ring nobody seemed bothered.
brentford - i didnt know Mike was a Pats fan, dont watch a lot of the channel 5 coverage although i wish they had the 2 match stint instead of Sky as i thought the whole program knocked Skys into touch.

zeeny - They looked mighty vulnerable Monday night, needing a late touchdown drive and some penalties that both sides complained about to beat the Baltimore Ravens 27-24 Monday night.
If i remember correctly the officials were awful for both sides all night, i think the last penalty call was bad because it was the game changer but both sides were the recipents of shocking calls from - how many officials line up? - the refs that night.

The Pats were complaining because saying "Yeah, you guys got completely **ed by the officials, sorry about that." wouldn't have been accepted very well by the fans. The game was handicapped for the Pats to continue unbeaten.

remember a mate of mine 10 years ago, strong saints supporter(r.league) heard on the radio going to pub that huddersfield had 6 tries disallowed in a close game , sarcastically asked him about the game , only to be told " the ref gave us nuffing"(sic) !!!!????
Its the old Home field calls no doubt about it but I do think as in all sports they balance up (and i say that as a diehard Pats fan)
Don't agree Brentford they got the calls in the past...rules were different then and should be the same now imo and as i said they all balance up in the end. The one sad thing about that game was the 2nd PI imo...shows the game has gone a bit soft in certain areas (and lets not start a Brady gets protected Ray Lewis rant anyone) and have given the Offensive and WR's in particular so much protection its too much..

Wow, I thought the Pats were a team that got calls if anything! Agree with Pitts too getting calls there way in the bowl.
To single out the calls in the colts game I dont agree with. PI calls get blown weekly for starters in many games, and the faulk rule was correct - was just a bad decision to go for it in the first place.
