So I backed out of form Cardiff at home against bottom club Preston and duly lost!

Today I am going for Espanyol v Gijon and Nurnberg v Dortmund

I am vexed with myself. Sankt Pauli beat Kaiserslautern 1-0.

Exactly what part of my betting strategy of   In form teams, playing matches they have to win at home against out of form teams; that's the way to steady profit   was a Lay of Sankt Pauli?

Unless I can keep my discipline this will never work.

Today's possibilities;

Cardiff v Preston
AC Milan v Brescia

Cardiff need to get back to winning ways and what better opportunity than at home to bottom placed Preston.

AC are neck and neck with Lazio at the top of Serie A and Brescia are dire.

An easy enough win for Dortmund

Had a 2% tickle on PAOK but luckily thought better of it at half time. I fancied their chances all day and with there being so few games on today I thought I'd have a go at today's 1%.

Today I'm going to lay Sankt Pauli; they've been awful of late and Kaiserslautern have been banging them in.

That was close

Metalist beat Debrecen 5-0 at their ground so they were massive favourites last night but almost blew it. I traded out the moment the Ukrainians took the lead.

I had a little tickle on Atlético as well last night and that would of ended in tears had I not traded out while they were 2-1 up.

Made my 1% but was far too hairy for my liking.

Tonight's games are likely to be just as bad. Obviously Dortmund should beat the pants off Karpaty Lviv but Dortmund are very short @ 1.16. Will have to see the team sheet before I put 8.25% of my bank on them.

Dortmund now @ 1.14 but they are an inform team playing at home in a game they have to win against a poor side.

Under those circumstances 1.14 would seem more than generous.

Well it was my own fault. I'm a Manchester United fan and I thought their forward line was strong enough to beat West Ham. A mistake and one I shouldn't have made, as I said on Day 11;

Europa League tonight, getting to the interesting stage in the Group phase but a lot of these teams are in the Europa League because they can draw but not win vital games.

Plenty of goals last night in El Clásico sadly none of them for Real

Not much football left on tonight after the snow. I'm putting 2% on Manchester United to win but will trade out if they are only 1 up going into the last 10 minutes. 

Not too many games on tonight but there is of course the Biggest game of the season, El Clásico at the Camp Nou.

I want Real to win but I'm going to put my money on over 2.5 goals.

Barca will want to win. Real will not want to lose.

I don't think either side has a really solid defence, they are rarely tested and I think with all the attacking talent both sides possess there has to be goals.

Mallorca won

After 14 days of aiming to grow my bank by 1% a day my bank has increased by 24.43%

I'm ahead of schedule, I shouldn't be at this level till Day 22

That is due entirely to me being very selective about my bets and cutting out silly little interest bets.

Dortmund delivered

Traded out of Nadal with a little profit at the start of the 1st set tie-breaker. I am a very nervous tennis watcher.

Out all day tomorrow so have put 2% on Mallorca.

Saturday today so lots of choice.

I also fancy Nadal to knock the spots of Murray.

Going to put 3% on Nadal @1.65 and will trade out when I've made a few bob and 5% on Dortmund and will probably trade out there towards the end if they are not a couple up.
