i have to say i was ashamed of that display today, take nothing away from everton as they were good,but we were so so poor,i aint seen that in 31 years!!! :-( even david moyes said,they had played better this season b4, that says in all for the reds really,apart from was roy on drugs or just protecting the players when he seen a game we all did'nt saying we played well was an insult to all us reds fans,we we naff bottom line,sure roy a good manager & in time we will improve,but that 2day was just not exceptable for me,we need a settled side, which i think roy dont know his best a 11 yet,even if there all fit, he needs to get some steel in to the players b***s!!! :-( b*****s to me bet,iam more upset to see my time in a all time low 19th & play so dreafull!!! :-( Soz lads,next post,will be postive,u can rest asured they will go on a run now, so LAY all liverpool's opponents from now on,it has to be a money earner as it can only get better from here ;-) |

Here's my bet for 2nite a double, i fancy 2 matches:
Roma Vs Basel Well this will be seen as a must win match for Roma if they are to progress smoothly into the Knockout Stages. And with them filling 13th place in the Serie A League with 2 Wins from 7 matches Claudio Ranieri really needs his side to find a positive and energetic performance. They just got past CFR Cluj, beating them 2-1 and they need a similar score line here to keep the pressure on Bayern Munich and avoid getting involved in a messy scrap with either CFR Cluj or Basel in the race for qualification. Romas recent Home record in the Champions League is impressive with stats of W10 D3 L2 GF24 GA11. The wins came against Shakhtar Donetsk, Valencia, Manchester United, Dynamo Kiev, Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bordeaux, Arsenal & CFR Cluj. The Draws have been at the hands of Olmpiakos, Lyon & Manchester United. While defeats have been too Manchester United & CFR Cluj. So apart from dropping shock points to CFR Cluj (Who they have beaten this year) and Olympiakos, it shows how tough they are at home. They dont often drop points at Home in the CL. 8 of these 15 matches finished Under 2.5 Goals. Roma have failed to score in 2 of these 15 matches. And have managed 6 Clean Sheets along the way. Basel, were having a very strong domestic season in Switzerland. But maybe the Champions League matches are starting to take its toll on their squad. They have only managed to Win 2 of their last 8 League matches. Having been on a run of 7 straight wins prior to this. Their recent away record in the CL is W2 D3 L5 GF9 GA18 (Includes Qualifiers). The only wins have come against Debrecen & Sheriff. Draws have been too IFK Goteborg, Guimaraes & Barcelona. While defeats have been too CFR Cluj, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Werder Bremen & Sporting Lisbon. So the only noticeable point Basel have earned on the Road in Europe came against former European Champions, Barcelona. Basels last 2 visits to Italy have ended in heavy 3-0 and 4-0 losses. Basel have failed to score in 4 of these 10 matches. And only managed 3 clean sheets (Mainly against lesser opposition). Totti will be the Key Man here. Basel have a poor record in Italy and Roma are in desperate need of a Win to bring some positives to what has been a poor campaign.
