If he's not granted a Knighthood in this year's honour list the sitting government are racist or have been in a bunker since Jan 2020. Similarly, if he's not voted the Sports Personality of the Year by The BBC and public, then the country does not deserve to be represented by him.

I thought you had to be British to be awarded a knighthood. Is he not from Monaco? That’s certainly where he pays his taxes.
The owner (soon not to be) of Arcadia had one - he paid over £300m for it. Does he not live outside The UK too? I think country of origin is the deciding factor. Non-entities like the leader of the Labour and Liberal Party they had a knighthood. Astonishing!
I agree. The whole honours system has been discredited over the years. I’m not denying Hamilton’s talent, it’s just my hatred of these people who wrap themselves in a Union Flag but don’t live or pay their taxes there.

If he'd not been given a knighthood the Conservative government are racist; beat Alonso as a novice; beat Schumacher record (cleanly); multiple F1 crown. If memory serves another sports person was knighted because of winning 1 Wimbledon title.
