Laid the first 2 in the betting today but didn't want to see a crash that soon. Will Lewis have a penalty? The market said it was 1/10 one of them would win which was daft.

He should be disqualified the cheating horrible little runt .
|
|
By:
Even with the pen, he has to make up 30 seconds in around 34 laps AND get past Leclerc, Norris and Bottas.
|
|
By:
what a shock, huh? cheat all you want, you're still guaranteed a podium finish.

Lewis could be down to sixth after his forced penalty. The gaps are not growing as fast as usual.
|
|
By:
He has had 16 laps to pass Leclerc but failed so far.

What did Hamilton do wrong? He was challenging on the inside with Verstappen on the outside, and plenty of space on either. Hamilton held his ground, but Verstappen turned in.
I've seen Verstappen done much worse in previous races - intimidating and forcing his way round - but found his match today. It was a merely racing incident, if anything. |
|
By:
totally agree impossible -
probably shouldn't have even been a penalty but as Verstappen had effectively served the 'ultimate race penalty' I guess they felt obliged, allied to the danger of collisions like that at relatively high speed corners...in reality though a total 50/50 where both drivers could have given a bit more and decided not to... been on the cards for a while as Verstappen effectively takes the Senna approach ( not a criticism) of forcing his opponent to concede or contact...by and large Hamilton in particular has played the long game but with the Championship slipping eventually that approach can't continue and Verstappen especially with some sore ribs etc may consider how much he wishes to keep his approach... great theatre none the less and two of the most talented F1 drivers I've had the pleasure to watch. |

Verstappen had been deploying "my way or the highway" mentality on the track for some time doing to others but, Hamilton (on sunday) decided not to play his game.
And, believe it or not, Hamilton has been getting abuses online since. A pathetic lot these non-entities, jealous and racist mongrels just because of the colour of his skin. Oh,for those lesser-informed his mum is white! |
|
By:
A little disappointed to see the roll call of racist mongrels severely limited today! Whilst several are banned they are still plenty of stupid’s about!
On the plus side they know nothing about sport so very unlikely to bump into them on my travels. |

By:
Hamilton could win this. Leclerc lying 2nd and the faster car of the Ferraris; Sainz is leading; Hamilton fastest car on the track.
|
|
By:
3.25 Hamilton here. Given what's happening with the Ferrari this is stonking value.
|
|
By:
Perez has a good restart and overtook Hamilton, and with fresh tyres could beat Sainz who's leading.
|
|
By:
Once Perez chinned Hamilton there was no coming back for the former; the Redbull car was just too superior for the Mercedes. Poor Leclerc wrong team strategy robbed him of another win; he finished 4th.

Zhou lucky to walk away from that Crash , thank fook for the Catch fence he would have been in the Crowd

£338 each is a crazy price. This is only for the diehard or anyone who wants to be seen. I like F1 nevertheless I'd rather give it to a food bank.
'billie' is taking the mickey; 6/4 (from 5/4) for either Russell or Hamilton to win. |
|
By:
5 laps to go with Hamilton leading Norris (2.9s) and Verstappen (1.1s). It will be close between Hamilton and Verstappen for 1st place.

By:
3 laos to go Hamilton leading Verstappen by 3.5s. Lookin ggood for Hamilton; probably not enough laps for Verstappen to actch him.

1 lap to go Hamilton is leading Verstappen by 2.7s.

1/2 a lap to go Hamilton ahead by 2.2s

After the procession of 2023 F1 is now more fixed than wrestling.
|
|
By:
I've never watched the in-running prices for F1 because I'm not a subscriber. But, it was very interesting with so many opportunities to trade eg Russell 3; Norris 3; Hamilton 8; Verstappen 12. Then Norris went odds-on; Russell 5/1; Hamilton 9; Verstappen 16.
Hamilton did not go odds-on until the last 7 laps when he told the lead after an earlier pit stop coming out infront of Norris and on the correct tyre. Well done Hamilton! Welcome back to the winner podium! |
|
By:
This could be very interesting if the British weather plays its role. It's drying out post a drenching earlier. 6 drivers could win it; Verstappen on pole with Piastri and Lando in 2nd and 3rd respectively; Russell 4th. Hamilton and Leclerc in 5th and 6th respectively.
And, it's free to watch. |
