^^ did you miss the Schumacher era? Confused

Remember having him in accs at 1/4 will have been shorter at some stage. Vettel will hit similar prices by the end of this season
Report bb66 October 1, 2013 5:09 PM BST
In Schumi's era with Ferrari overtaking was almost impossible (no DRS),some years races were yawning processions were he was a banler from pole, it's different now with DRS, different tyre strategies and a far bigger likelihood of safety car coming out.

Qualifying analysis - a tale of two strategies in India 26 Oct 2013

On the face of it, Sebastian Vettel scored another dominant pole position in India on Saturday, but the world champion looks set to have a major fight on his hands as he bids for a third consecutive win in New Delhi. For whilst the German, along with the majority of the top ten, will start Sunday’s race on Pirelli’s soft tyre, Vettel’s Red Bull team mate, Mark Webber, and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso will begin the Grand Prix on the much more durable medium compound rubber. With the softs expected to do no more than five laps on full tanks, Webber, Alonso and the McLaren’s of Jenson Button and Sergio Perez may just have called it right…

Red Bull
Sebastian Vettel, 1m 24.119s, P1
Mark Webber, 1m 25.047s, P4
Red Bull split their strategy, putting Vettel on the soft Pirellis to run for the pole – his 43rd overall and seventh of the season – and hedged their bets by running Webber on the mediums in Q3. Given the circumstances his lap of 1m 25.047s was most impressive, and he could well be the race’s dark horse. Vettel can clinch his fourth consecutive world championship here if he finishes fifth or higher. If he does that, it doesn’t matter where Alonso finishes.

In running prices on Vettel Scared

The commentator even said Red Bull did a sim in practice so they knew theyd be pitting after 1 or 2 laps.

Think he came in end of lap 58 (remember Vettle was 45 seconds ahead so was half way through lap 59), so the final lap, 60th would have been a clean fastest lap. No way he could have made a fastest lap from the podium as the garage is beyond the start line.

Thanks Pal, nice start to the morning, 9/4 was a huge price.
Report Virgin October 27, 2013 12:29 PM GMT
HGsuperhoopza yeah that would explain it a bit more - I will re-watch it later and see whether it was a comms error or my error Crazy
