Mc has broke his foot/leg
By:
what was diaz talking about he was injured during camp? if so u should have pulled out ffs defo suggest that in interview there
By:
I think having a war like that is better for McGregor's rep/marketability than a bunch of dominant wins at lower weight
By:
How do they take so many hits? Mind boggling really
By:
rogan saying jones may only get 6 month ban info coming out about him soon he claims
By:
I shouldve cleaned up but Im just relieved that Diaz had the big 3rd round or I woulda been looking at a nasty loss.
By:
whats gonna happen with the featherweight title is they are gonna go another fight? he should just vacate that title tbh
By:
if they are gonna go another fight? he should just vacate that title***
By:
it will be interesting to see what happens next as alvarez said he wanted to winner of this fight so that would mean mcgreogr can choose between either trilogy fight with eddie or fight with aldo? LOL crazy stuff altho i think eddie will fight cowboy and mcgregor will vacate featherwight and do a trilogy
By:
trilogy fight with nate or fight alvares or aldo ? **** lol its too late im **** tired lol can barely see my screen
By:
probs gets bigger payday if he goes for trilogy will be interesting times ahead

Diaz was injured before the first fight

I wonder when conor broke his foot. diaz checked a kick early but that would be even more amazing if conor fought with it for that long. we'll probably find out in the press conference. I'm 80% sure I made money on that fight. I made so many live bets it's gonna take me a while to add them uP.. the odds movement in that was nuts haha.
did anyone see how much was matched on the exchange? |
By:
McGregor's next fight has to be for a belt surely?
By:
You would think if ever there was a fighter who deserves a rematch it is Aldo. McGregor is the current belt holder in that division but can he make that weight (145lbs/65kg)?
or at lightweight (155lbs/70kg) if he is lucky he fights for the belt against Alvarez with the chance to hold belts in two weight divisions simultaneously. otherwise he fights #2 ranked fighter in that division, Rafael Dos Anjos or Ferguson. tonights fight was at welterweight 170lbs/77kg. Mcgregor weighed in at 168lbs. |

By:
just lookin back in the interview and pretty sure i heard nate say tell dana i aint coming back @ 3.08 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUXcJpdn_f8
By:
he has to defend his featherweight title or either vacate it tbh eddie said he wanted to winner of this match so if thats true and nate is done then id think he would either have to vacate and go right into fight with eddie dana makes the fight so its really upto him as but alvarez wants mcgregor for his own title lol
By:
he can make 145 but youve seen how ill he looks at past weigh ins for this weight but he did say he wanted to become the first man in ufc history a to hold the featherweight and the lightweight titles at the same time ( easier said than done in the ufc) thats what he done at cage Wwrriors before he joined ufc

backstage interviews here guys
conor's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmKHd34d-X0 nate's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oxRrD44NCA rumble's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQd5tHOUcds not sure what's going on with the press conference, I think it's split into different parts. here's conr's one: http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/8/21/12546260/ufc-202-post-fight-press-conference-video conor doesn't look like he's just been in a 5 round war at all, diaz isnt making excuses but then proceeds to make excuses, but to be fair apparently he did have a rib and knee injury before the fight. conor had ankle problems prior then **** up his shin on diaz's knee in the fight. |

found the whole press conference, on a phone video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANUQnI3Mu3A

conor really doesn't seem keen on the idea of re-matching aldo. says the aldo/frankie fight was dissapointing, jose didn't go after it so re-matching the guy he KO'd in 13 seconds is the interim champ of the division. implying there's no one else there to fight really. kinda agree with that, but I'd like to see it at some point anyway.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANUQnI3Mu3A 1 thing that surprised me was that conor said he's literally only thrown a few leg kicks in his career, and this was the first time he's used them in his gameplan. I'd be interested to hear why. maybe he's adding more variety to his striking so he doesn't have to rely on more energy consuming techniques, in a bid to improve his cardio? I think he'd be smart to do that. he's talked a lot in the past about the concept of infinite growth when it comes to skills, and while that's not really real, the mindset that comes along with that is one of his biggest pro's as a fighter, he showed a completely different gameplan than the first fight while nate's skills seem to of plateaued I hope they both do another fight before the trilogy, neither guy needs that **** again for a while. |

Incredible fight, and I think the third would be even better at 155.
Agree on not having it too soon, as that was a serious war. Hope they save it until the July card next summer ![]() |
