I find I have to tuck into a big plate of Morrisons own-brand corned beef baps (Morrisons Tiger Baps naturally), with a side order of Tesco's Finest goose-fat roast potatoes, and a big mug of Yorkshire tea. Later on in the evening I usually need half a dozen Absoluts.
It's only then that my nerves are steadied after a turbulent and frantic LMAX Foruming day, desperately grasping at options for the next word in a list and making sure I don't miss my turn.
I have aged around 10 years since the time this Forum started, and will be seeing a Compo Chancer Lawyer accordingly.

My God, after a frenetic week's LMAXing, it will be serious letting my hair down this weekend. Drunken depravity and debauchery on the cards. It must be like this with City of London traders. Or nurses, but obviously not quite as full-tilt as the LMAXers.

When I am 99 years old, hopefully being attended to by my very own blonde buxom private nurse in some sort of Care Home for Degenerate Gamblers and/or General Degenerates, one solitary thought will be in my mind, long after everything else has been forgotten.

Make a note of this date in your diary : Monday 6th December 2010 - Black Monday for the LMAX Forum. A day when even the hard-working Word Associationers downed tools. Absent without leave the lot of them. Winston Churchill would have had them shot for desertion.
