In the street where I live they have been installing fibre optic cabelling. In the last couple of weeks I have got literature from BT, telling me about the new cabling, their offering 4 times faster speed with BT Broadband Infinity.

The price BT, quote is around £20 per month, presently I pay less than half of that with AOl and I get free calls.

My question is if I stay with AOL, will my internet link still get faster or will I have to join BT to enjoy the benifits of the fibre optic cables?
