New forum: How To... Tabulating data in a post

Thought I'd start a new thread with how to tabulate data as the previous thread pertains to the old forum and is already 7 pages long.

There is a button to create a table at the botton of the page when replying or creating a new thread... but in true Betfair style it appears/disappears intermittently without any obvious rhyme or reason.

So to do it manually:


The key is the pipe character '|' a pair of these denotes a cell, and you need a pair at the start and end of each line as well.

In this example I will use PP to denote a pair of pipe characters.

PP L1 C1 PP L1 C2 PP L1 C3 PP
PP L2 C1 PP L2 C2 PP L2 C3 PP
PP L3 C1 PP L3 C2 PP L3 C3 PP

replace all the PP's with '

L1 C1	L1 C2	L1 C3
L2 C1	L2 C2	L2 C3
L3 C1	L3 C2	L3 C3
