I hear the same stories over and over again. When someone was on a winning streak, they were smart and clever bets that they were placing, but when they have a losing streak that wipes out all the previous profit, they call it "silly bets" and the like and claim they "****** it all away". As if that bit of their gambling career shouldn't count. That is delusional thinking and something very common amongst losing gamblers.
