Townend on Blue Lord and Patrick on Echoes Of Rain,I would have thought Townend would have been on Echoe Of Rain.

Echoes.
|
|
By:
slightly surprising
but presume Townend had the choice and there isn't much in it |
|
By:
a few coin tosses today so i doubt anyone will be getting stuck in
Preference for Chacun por Soi over Allaho on the basis of trip and track Allaho scenario reminds me of One Man back in the 90s The English horses are better value by comparison I give Coolreevy a shout against the Big2, ratings suggest 8s is value. Prefer Monkfish to Envoi Allen as the safer option but it's not a betting medium i would be surprised if Franco de Port got involved Echoes in Rain preferred to Blue Lord in the 4.15 but not by much Turn of foot may be crucial in what could be a messy race good luck all |

Why is rocky on rte? Nasty creature. That's the national broadcaster for you. And the stuntman. No thanks.

Tomorrow's card lacks something for me
Regardless, Gold Cup at 17.55 i am laying Melon and backing Kemboy Interested in how Clan Des Obeaux gets on 18.30 Champion Bumper Another coin toss and this time i think Kilcruit will turn the tables |
|
By:
Fancy Kilcruit myself to turn the tables as it was caught slightly on the hop LTO.
I'm going for Alboum Photo in the big one with Kemboy as the danger,I think the pair of them are the only 2 that will see out the trip if it's truly run. |
|
By:
That's my bet as well Punchestown..
|
|
By:
Clan Des O won fair and square,Alboum Photo's jumping maybe not great but had every chance.I knew the minute I started to back Mullins horses the arse would fall out of it.
|
|
By:
Kilcruit plus a place lay of Lake Winnie buttered a few parsnips there
Agree with Punchestown, Clan des Obeaux won fair and square under a good tactical ride and good luck to Nicholls and his owners for supplementing None of the irish horses could match him up front, Al boum and Fakir stayed with him as long as they could Al boum needed him to empty over the last 2 and it didn't happen intriguing 3m grade 1s next season |
|
By:
Surprised Clan Des O forced the running so much as I thought it would be iffy on the trip.Couldn't believe how easy Kilcruit was going just before the straight.

Doesn't make Townend's ride of Kilcruit at Cheltenham look any better that's for sure.

Thursday is a weak card
Friday looks better thankfully Stayers is decent enough but hardly a standout event I like Ronald Pump 2m nov chase sees Energumene back on track and he is miles clear on ratings and 1.4 as a result Janidil and Captain Guinness have their pluses and minuses for the 2nd spot I prefer Janidil as a horse going forward to next year but Captain Guinness might shade him on a track he likes and over a trip that should suit him better At least it's better than the Aintree version 2m hcap chase is interesting Good luck to Entoucas, unlucky last time mares novice is a nice race but is ruined for ew purposes with only 7 runners |

bad day for me yesterday, got the stayers badly wrong
the poor form of de Bromhead and Foster has thrown today up in the air Bob Olinger withdrawn wouldn't want to be going in too deep on Honeysuckle as a result i will be going with Galliard du mesnil in the 6.00 at 1.5x |
|
By:
Can't imagine they'd dream of running Honeysuckle unless 100% and I'll continue until she's beat
,WPM looking very strong again today. |
|
By:
Honeysuckle looked 100% to me
despite Sharjah going 1.22 in running just a blip going up to the last |
|
By:
Not at her best yesterday but game as a pebble.
