3 hand passes . One too many , but 3 OK for the present .
Sideline balls : irrelevant , nothing wrong at present except time used up , should have penalties for messing about .
The Mark : Current OK for kickouts , not sure about awarding a forward a free punt for a clean catch , a bit too much like Aussie rules , just slows that game up .
Sin Bin : Not as relevant in GAA as in for instance rugby where might is right . Black card OK with me , and maybe two yellows should result in 15 mins in the bin rather than a red card . Anything which allows referees flexibility in reffing players behaviour is to be welcomed , provided it is even handed .
Kick out : Travelling beyond 45 is OK for senior players , just worry about under age etc . Just hope there are not too many gale force winds around . Counting a goal keeper plus six defenders from both teams inside the 45 on kickout completely impractical , wonder who thought that one up . As bad as the offside rule in soccer , artificial in the extreme .
The really important one is the 3 hand passes , maybe we might get back our football from the basketballers .
