Saxon Warrior for Nijinsky route ?

Not up to it , best of the stable but well beaten .

Just very disappointing,the potential and hype were there before the race,well and truly burst.

In the big picture probably good Sheik Mo got it.

One rotten track as we all know but the last 2 days showed that particulary yesterday with the softer ground and the near rail bias.

First five were well clear I think . Moore was closed off 3 times at least , but don't think he would have won with a clearer run .

Guineas form stood up to a certain extent .

Ryan Moore blameless gents, with a clearer run Saxon Warrior would have won and the authorities should take a good long look at some of the tactics employed by other stables out there today.

Surely no excuses today on this track and at very near evs it is either aye or nay.

Has to be an aye from me, the rest of AOB's cast look as per usual will try and set it up, MJ,s runner holds Saxon on the Derby run but personally can't see that being upheld given different ground and that trainers inconsistency,rest of the field look either not good enough or held though Latrobe could well outrun his 20's ish odds on a line through Hunting Horn.

Saxon Warrior not a stayer?  Perfectly placed , but outstayed in my book .  Surprised if he is not taken back to max 10 furlongs races .

Well done to the brothers O'Brien . Could be the first of many , especially if Joseph gets more of the best bred ones .

Agree with a poor Derby,i thought that beforehand and SW had a peno, know he was a ball of sweat but very possibly he is just an average enough guineas winner.

Beggy is the most useless jockey I have ever known. He can't even pacemaker properly. A piss poor jockey of the highest order.

In my prime and given the same horses I would be right up there with Ryan....

For sheer swashbuckling entertainment -nothing beats the forum 'analysts' frenzied OTT vapourings . No connection with reality need be assumed .

Winning the biggest races on the worst horses makes him a genius surely.
