goodluck tony, I'm on front two in the market, don't expect too may replies, seems people on here cant even be bothered to discuss the
biggest races on the calendar, this forum really is hopeless.

Just looks a really open race to me anyway, some people wuld have an opinion on it but imagine more think it is ifs and buts.
Must watch but despite presige money in the pocket for me.
Enable looked a brilliant filly in the oaks yesterday.
Report newapproach June 3, 2017 3:02 PM BST
Capri is probably overpriced @ 22/1 given the openness of the race. Extra trip should suit and Heffernan usually rides Epsom supremely well.

Double posting might be a good tactic Tony.

Surely Cliffs of Moher has lost his race already? Very wound up.
Best of luck.

What a race Paddy rode ,sadly he beat the fav.
Report tony57 June 3, 2017 4:48 PM BST
pa, i posted a winner i fancied, and one that was beat..i just think theres a mod who has it in for me and others..
Report pa lapsy June 3, 2017 4:53 PM BST
It was some race, winner nearly brought down 2f out, not the playing up that cost Cliffs of Moher but the fierce early pace.
Report pa lapsy June 3, 2017 5:02 PM BST
Tony, ive no idea why, don't blame ya for being fed up.

It's extraordinary that AOB/Coolmore can have a 1-2 in the Derby and probably got it badly wrong.

The early strong pace set by the Coolmore horses probably in the end have meant the horse who traveled like the best one- Cliffs of Moher was outstayed.

From a commercial point of view- a hames of a race, the sold off Pour Moi beating an improving Galileo.

On a personal level,AOB would have wished that he had one of the offspring on board -unlikely they would have won then but AOB wouldn't be thinking that.

One thing is for absolute certain, Seamie Heff wouldn't have beaten Cliffs of Moher into second.

Good the mafia lose the future inflated stud fees
Report dj876 June 3, 2017 5:06 PM BST
Excuse my Error -Pour Moi still with Coolmore but at the lower ranks of a NH stallion so still an underwhelming result

When was the last time John Magnier was seen at races/sales?
Report punchestown June 3, 2017 5:10 PM BST
Crazy that the winning jockey looked far from resolute.......
Report by purpose June 3, 2017 5:41 PM BST
Churhill is the key to their year as regards stallions. What ran in todays Derby will probably end up National Hunt sires.Would not fall down if i saw one or two of them jump hurdles in the green and gold.

Thought Cliffs of Moher was going to win 3 lengths when he hit the front .  Reckon he didn't stay , ran out of petrol .
Report workrider June 4, 2017 11:32 AM BST
He stayed alright Kelly, just the winner was stronger at the finish.
Report tony57 June 4, 2017 1:32 PM BST
great to see a jockey unknown have his day
Report Vubiant June 4, 2017 2:54 PM BST
Yes indeed...delighted for PB.
It shows any normally experienced pro jockey can ride a Gr 1 winner - it's only another race . All that's different is the media ballyhoo, prizemoney , glamour context etc.
If I muted the screen and said this is an all-aged claimer -no one could tell the difference between that and any Group race.

my thoughts on the derby, ryan moore needs to watch videos of how the greats like lester piggot rode the Epsom derby, he useless
around Epsom, seems to think he can sit at the back of the field all the way around and win the race coming from virtually last
to first every year. clueless little bastard

Mickael Barzalona did it on Pour Moi in 2011 and Beggy came from further back than Moore yesterday.
Report workrider June 4, 2017 8:02 PM BST
If COM had finished like the winner  and was ridden by Ryan Moore we would be claiming it was one of the best Derby finish's ever! fact he was  40/1 seems to have blurred our vision.
