Each to their own but why continuously pick the hardest conundrums

Big flat handicaps are a terrible betting medium in my view and hence major books sponsor most of them.

It creates the culture (getting handicapped) they want leading up to the race and then try to encourage punters to bet on the "big profile "race.

you follow the big handicaps through the season, the info you get from the races is invaluable, only mug couldn't see
the multitude of angles you can get from these races. keeps your mind sharp for the season ahead, all the angels that beat your selections in the races, become working knowledge.
