It should die down after today. Understandable there was talk about it today given this was a rescheduled fixture, the first time they tried to play it it was called off due to Foley dying on the day.

However not enough credit is being given to rassie Erasmus. He has changed several things for the better. If he can keep his best players injury free they fear no team.

I cannot abide Munster , there is no team playing any sport that i dislike more.
All this Munsters call bawloxx, shoulder to shoulder rubbish, the great spirit, great supporters, and now the 16th man garbage.
Typical paddy stuff who think they are the only nation who can have teams with great spirit, typical paddy who thinks we are a nation who have supporters with no equal.
Well when Munster were in the doldrums last year or so, there wasnt a cricket at their matches, thousands of empty seats. Now that they are back winning again, the so called supporters are back in force after clearing their throats.
The team spirit is another nonsense of course, plenty of teams have similar if not better.
Cannot wait until the business end of the Heineken Cup, and hopefully some French team will give them a proper hammering , that will get half their "supporters " off the bandwagon for a while.

Teams of 4 provinces are 95% irish unlike the followed soccer clubs in UK which are practically 0% irish

There is no end to rugby vubiant from pro 12 to champions cup to 6 nations and lions tour so get used to it.

mincemeat.....Just goes to show what kind of prixx "support" Rugby in Ireland. It only seems like last week when the Munster flags were hanging out of windows of cars and every second house, and that kip that they play in used be packed full at about 70 euro a pop. Now the shoulder to shoulder nonsense is a thing of the past, you could have a stand to yourself now if you turned up.
They used be flying all over Europe supporting them, with tears in their eyes, they were so proud of the great Munster. They ain’t so proud now are they? and to make things worse they can’t even switch and start following Leinster because they aren’t worth a sausage either.

Spot on. The wheels of this large bandwagon are coming of. The self proclaimed greatest fans in the world. (not too great when they are needed most) I'd hazard a guess and say 70 or 80% haven’t been inside the gates of a local rugby field. And alot didn’t know rugby existed 10 15 years ago.

When teams start to lose there is always a fall off in support. I live in Munster but am on the borders of two other provinces. I never got this feeling of being a proud Munster man, provinces only kicked in for me with the Railway Cup and I would be just supporting the Tipp players. I support any Irish rugby team, being Irish enough for me.

I was a fair-weather supporter but usually to oblige a guy who had a few extra tickets to flog from the local club. They were great days - a big (semi-final?) win in the Ricoh in Coventry (the ugliest city in the world thanks to Hitler?) - was memorable and just something we weren't used to-travelling abroad to support a successful team when soccer was of the Trap variety. It does seem amazing that the defeat to the Pumas has brought about rugby Armageddon and no-one like the ever-jolly mincer to jump on that particular bandwagon. Something vaguely reminiscent in this thread about Alan Quinlan telling the supporters they shouldn't be downing too many half-time pints as it ruined his enjoyment.

Royal Academy, im not jumping on any bandwagon unlike your good self who openly admitted to doing so. I can’t abide Munster and everything they stood for, and i never did. They were the one team that i didnt need to bet against, as i wanted them beat so badly, there was no need for any monetary interest. It gives me great satisfaction to see their current plight though, i'm not ashamed to admit it either.
What is particularly pleasing is the absence of the worms who used to go and support them, where are they now ?

neill we often see prices and think..wow thats overpriced.id agree odds against munster looks a tempter but the odds makers ,especially in rugby are uncannily accurate.how many times have we seen games landing on exact handicaps?even far out ones ..there were 2 in the autumn seriers one year 32 and 31 one landed exact and one was 1 point out..

They are banking on Glasgow school plastic pitch. We destroyed them in thomond but we only barely hung on a few weeks later in Glasgow by a point.
We play different style away from home and Glasgow have more to fight for than arguably we do so playing at home you can expect Glasgow to give it everything.

Definitely not mush? That was a 80 minute battle against most of the Scottish team. Playing winning rugby sometimes it's pretty sometimes it's not but it's edge of the seat stuff
