doncaster 2.05 BRIERY BELLE @9/4
ive followed this mare since her debut bumper ,as she ran in the same race as her half sister (same owners) who i know a lot about (briery queen) she has always shown that the engine is there but it took her  a while to break her duck and when she did in a decent race @huntingdon and then won at cheltenham..but it was always henry daly who said this one is a chaser..she  proved that on her debut at carlisle, which was effortless..nto she went to warwick were desert queen  a fair sort for harry fry led all the way and at half way i thought she would not get to the leader but she ground it out and went away after the last to win well..tomorrow is a flat track which should not be a problem, this is a tougher race especially with kelane (won well lto) and a debutant from the nicholls yard that could be anything..but it will have to be above average to beat belle imo..with a clear round.
limerick 1.45 rathnure rebel @evens
won leading from start to finnish at cork beating a horse i fancied (monbeg notorious)the ground and trip are fine his jumping out in front was good and i can see him doing the same to the mullins horses penhills jumping was not good lto so i,d be worried about backing that especially if the fav can make it and put pressure on them turning in...best of luck..

No offence Tony, but am going to wait for Big Willy's verdict.

I know nothing about the UK racing so won't comment on his first selection.
On his second it should win.  Can't see Pennhill staying.
On Leopardstown, I backed I Knew Well last time and he looked like a horse with plenty in hand. I see McManus daughter own the fav aswell but whoever moved on that this evening could have blown their load a bit early!!

i like robbie mac,s bumper winner..look to do it all easy enough..frustrating day with the n/r..cos of the ground at donny..

Amazed donny went ahead today in all honesty. Suppose christmas hunger played a big part. robbie macs impressive in the bumper. Thought derek gave kielys a strange ride, but wouldnt have beaten the winner anyways. meades looked decent in the bumper in limerick.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Rathnure Rebel, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be both blowing hard and coughing post race and to have a swollen right knee.
