I'd recommend Ozymandius or the other moralisers to watch Bristows interview with Piers Morgan.
The man you call a knuckledragger,a Neanderthal,swivel eyed argued with logic and clearly won the exchange. Its amazing the way liberals hate who they deem the working class. Morgan threw everything at him but his core point was valid and he stuck to it,if this happened him as a kid he would have returned and exacted physical retribution when he was an adult,thirty years after the event is too late. They had a woman on to berate him,three of her children were abused,she called him the most despicable person ever to draw breath. I wonder what she thinks of the gentleman who abused her kids. This is the classic liberal stance,thoughts and speech are far worse than actions. |

How exactly is his core point valid?
The last thing the majority of abused children want to do is confront their abuser later in life for a multitude of reasons. One is that it brings back painful, embarrassing memories that they want to surpress, another is that they can't bear any further contact with their abuser, another is that they frequently retain guilt that they have brought in on themselves etc etc. These are not my views, these are well established facts as conveyed by the abused. For the moron Bristow to laddishly label these victims cowards, place himself in the shoes of the abused (he can in no way understand or relate to what they have gone through) and brag about what he would or wouldn't have done is appalling. His views are the very epitomie of ignorance. And it's no surprise that you have labelled them as 'correct'  |

Everybody would love to thump these abusers, that goes without saying, and naturally it might spare others, but there are sound reasons, outlined above, as to why labelling those abused who don't do this as 'cowards', is ignorant. that's the central issued being discussed on this thread.

Its not the central issue at all.
Bristow acknowledged calling them cowards was wrong and apologised. The central issue was a bit of old fashioned rough justice would not have gone astray here,it would have led to some investigations and saved some newer victims. You and your fellow thought police can't comprehend this so you dishonestly concentrate on his wrongly calling them cowards. There is also some good advice in his admittedly uncouth words,always tell someone not alone for yourself but for others following on. |

He was interviewed by Piers Morgan because it was in the news and gave what Morgan thought was an open goal and a chance for Piers to parade his goodness and tear asunder this Neanderthal,it didnt quite work out that way. The thought police are hell bent on suppressing certain views. They wait for some unsuspecting Sportstar to use some now frowned upon word. The message has got out though any viewpoint that could be deemed as right wing is not allowed,it will lead you to lose your job. In Sweden it leads you to lose your children. Amazingly in Rotherham it led to a foster couple being turned down for fostering because they supported UKIP. |

His rights to free speech have not been taken away..he is free to continue tweeting..his views have not been suppressed. Sky, correctly decided that they did not want to be publicly represented by a man with such abhorrent crass, insensitive views. That is as much their right, as it is his to say what he likes on Twitter. |
