Vintage thread tbf!
As per usual, DJs economic views are spot on. It's terrifying to see some contributors, with zero grasp of even the basics, pontificating at length on economic matters. |

There are fools and then there are ugly idiots like you Needie. Italy contributes more towards the EU than the UK, i stopped reading after that i am sure there is loads more rubbish in there. Neddie you don't live in the country you know nothing about what is happening here bar looking at horse racing results, it is obvious you don't read or listen to any news either, so you are unable to contribute towards the subject, so stop clogging it up. Btw also you need to keep your child like analogies to yourself, we are adults on here you moron, do i make myself clear?!
Hey Needie left wing bankers, classic ![]() |
|
By:
Not even going to attempt to read your infantile nonsense. You need to stop posting on something you know nothing about and instead go and play with your Hornby train set, quick they are calling for conductor Needie.
|
|
By:
At least i have one of my own Ned, there are people with vested interest in a subject trying to discuss it and then some Tallaght howyas who is clogging it up with stupid analogies that are simply factually incorrect. It's not difficult to understand but what part of 'stop posting on something you know nothing about', do you not get? Seriously give it a break and take your minus IQ elsewhere.

Its very easy to be blind when in receipt, the EU is and until it's final breakup will remain a dictatorship conning the muppets who foolishly believe in it. When Ireland and the UK joined the EEC it was an economic and trade union between European countries. It later grew into an opportunity for the larger countries i.e Germany and France to Politically invade smaller countries and bestow foreign laws and beliefs and at what price. Having failed twice to conquer Europe with guns and bombs Germany are making a good job 3rd time round without a shot been fired. Ireland who fought with Britian for years over London Rule now doesn't mind Brussels Rule how ironic but sure if it worth a few quid, Laughable. And when the proposed European Army arrives don't think you'll be able to play your neutrality Card cause that wouldn't buy with Junker and Co. So for all the people who unintelligently suggest that anti EU people are the ignoramus's think again. You'd sell your soul for a few bob. The audacity of the EU then to tell the UK that under European Law they might not be allowed leave. Its no wonder the World is in the state it's in

Rag'n Bone man having posts removed AGAIN ...Sick fooker ...

By:
How dare you nobody coming on here accusing me of having posts removed, i'm guessing it was your train one
![]() If it was will then it was removed because they clearly thought the person who wrote it was about 5 years of age and too young to be on here. As i said if you are not able to add to the subject (and you're certainly not) then please don't post nonsense and let everybody else debate the matter at hand. You are guilty of being the person who has made more people shy away from this forum than any other, glad to see BF are now taking these steps now, BF was never intended for the likes of you (Sharp Minds). ![]() |

the op just shows how lacking in understanding of why the british people voted the way they did?
politicians and people have to learn to listen? listen again?..and you will find there is no buyers remores? people would vote the same again ..if not larger margin for leave if the murder of jo cox had not occured?..you ask why and i will tell you this, it was about the uk control of its borders, laws, and money, this idea tapped into peoples discontent that laws were being passed for them by officals and politcians they did not elect?could not vote out? and did not identify with their concerns! the vast majority of leave voters are not anti immigration or migrant, people just want to control their borders to help the pressure on public services and ensure the impact on the working class communitys is reasonable, they wanted a system that was fair?..but were told that is impossiable inside the eu? people knew what they were voting for, single market membership means accepting freedom of movement and the juristriction of the eu courts..the british people rejected this ..and so that means no membership of the single market! |

Very good economic news for the UK today, economy growing solidly, no economist myself as said above but surely the doom mongers got a kick in the goolies with this.
Can't help but think a large percentage of the bawling are directly affected by the weakness of the currency and have a selfish agenda. |

By:
oz,
like many who fail to understand the reason the vote went the way it did, you cannot grasp that the eu is a dying institution..full of corrupt people not acting in the best interests of its people..brexit is just the start...italy and hungary next |
|
By:
Tony, thanks for putting me right as to the reason the vote went the way it did. I always appreciate your economic insight.
Fortunately, I have a sack full of Lira and will hold onto them a while longer on your say so. |
|
By:
no probs oz..i like to help, just remember, £ will rise again ?
|
|
By:
Unlike you, I don't have time to restate my position on common topics on a daily basis.
Nor frankly, do I have the inclination to discuss economic matters with people who fail to demonstrate even a basic grasp of the subject. |
|
By:
I would have thought the "Anglo" part would have been delighted with the news.
You do like to run people down Oz, you yourself maintained there were 53 homeless people in Ireland and you were 1st in the queue in the "pledge-a-bed" campaign for the economic migrants. You are also keeping your own "economic insights" a closely guarded secret, google always have something to offer. I thought Tony and Banjaxsed had fair enough points. What is after happening is wages are stagnant for at least 5-8 years, due in part to cheap labour, property is unaffordable to even rent for many, If the UK can go back to the days of social housing in part rather than pander to landslord and banks i think they could have gained a flying start myself. It is bad when communism is preferred by a lot of Eastern Europe due to the young being unable to get on the ladder unless inherited. |

You can see how people respond to DJ's intelligent, informed, perceptive points.
Why bother going to the effort? |
|
By:
That would be true of everyone else who responded to the topic, different viewpoints also have merit.
|
|
By:
Not when they emanate from those who have conclusively shown themselves to be economically illiterate.
One simply does not come to the Irish Sports Forum if one wishes to constructively engage in economic debate. One comes, rather, for the pantomime value. |
|
By:
Oh right, but you have added nothing to the thread except alluding that Britain is wrecked without any proof or indication whatsoever of HOW.
|
|
By:
And you dear man provide plenty of that.....
|
|
By:
Thats for Ozy btw ...Some on here love to put themselves up as economic experts, when its evident that the opposite is true .Worried about the fall of the pound are we ,well what about Americas infastructure ,to fix it is going to cost 3.5 trillion ,were do you think they'll get that from ,well I'll tell ya,the printing machines, thats were...
|
|
By:
oh dear.
|
|
By:
Again the inability to discuss something when the topic moves a bit, just the stock answers followed by a paen to someone he wants to befriend.
Then the descent into name calling culminating with a picture, its a tried and trusted formula. |
|
By:
Goodnight lads,it's worse it's getting;
