Not really disappointed Jimeen , just not my sort of track, had a meal in the resturant was ok, staff very nice though . Last time I had a runner there it finished last . They have made some nice changes also . as I say not my fav track...

As it happens I agree with you, and for a country track the facilities aren't bad, but it wouldn't be my favourite either, far from it in fact.
I always had it down as soulless, the track is too flat, it has no character .

Speaking of ‘soulless’ then Death Duty next Tuesday should bring it back to life for you boyos. Ruby specifically mentioned him today after winning the Nov Ch on Rathvinden.

...and Gordon has a treble - 2/7 with Roaring Bull - He's still a big baby and will be a nice horse for next year, 1/5 DD & 7/2 with newcomer Legacy - he has to be okay and he'll go for a maiden hurdle next. He's a big three-mile chaser in the making.

Last year at Punch festival had my last £50 on Roaring Bull,was walking towards the gate as it looked beat and out the back,then it got involved and lo and behold got up,cue one happy punter heading back to the bookies.
