Thankfully it is only every 2nd year i make a complete tit of myself by getting it so wrong.
What a weak looking Euro team though,Sullivan,Chris Wood, young Matty and Thomas Pieters, even Cabero-Bello and ould Westwood, surely they are fecked!!!
All hyped up in cage fighting manner with Danny Willetts brother calling the Yanks a bunch of lard arses, ya just can't say it.

Think Sergio and Kaymer will get a foursomes point to have Europe 3-1 behind after that,Matt Kuchar ew at 16/1 for top combined points scorer might have a bit of mileage as plays with Dustin against Pieters/Westwood.

The Judas double is USA and Dublin, every GAA pundit saying Dublin can never play so bad again, alright i trust ye for 6/4 for the two.

Have a good weekend!

Ah well,  I've procastignated on it a long time, herself will be all of a doodah with her zenophobic shouts for Europe, i must admit that is part of it,she mangled the block of cheese, what is it with women and a complete inability to cut cheese in a straight line?,that is a facctor as well.
Yep all the wrong reasons but what harm.

Pa, One of the worst displays ever by a European team ,a total shambles, taken nothing away from the Yanks but that was brutal from our lads..

Honestly thought the Americans were poor enough as well WR,Mickleson was brutal on fairways but Europe were chronic altogether,Westwood missing a couple of short ones, Rose doing nothing,Pieters to his credit for a rookis did well.
Don't understand why Fitzpatrick and Wood not playing in fourballs, it is such a bad sign of a team that played so poor they aren't getting a game, really shouldn't be there if can't get picked after earlier.

Could be a right mauling here.

Great comeback this evening even if Kaymer continues to play very moderately, like he has done in many matches over the 3 cups despite a marginal winning record.

The exclusion of Knox for his pal Westwood is already making Clarke look like a plonker. Pieters must feel like he is playing a different sport now with Rory and is playing brilliantly.

I didn't see that coming either, suppose from the spectacle point of view it is better close.

Clarkes biggest mistake so far for me was not playing the two Spaniards together this morning, behind but off to bed the happier side.

Good comeback after a disastrous morning . Americans played well in morning , but not 4-0 play , momentum swing a factor .  Should have been 3-1 probably each session on first day .

Rory simply the best player out there at present , hope Darren can place him properly so as to guarantee maximum points from him from now on .

Looking forward to some great sport over the next few days , the replay could go either way on basis of what I saw in Croke Park .  Dubs allegedly cant play badly again , but Mayo played well and might do so again .

I thought Pieters carried him myself yesterday Kelly.

Think the pairing is right to go out first today, bit surprised Mickleson is,he didn't hit a fairway yesterday, that is not to say he won't today but evens looks a decent price for Eur to continue the momentum.
Looks the standout bet of the 4 early matches to me.
Maybe the Americans will get the next 2 and the Spanish pairing possibly the last though i couldn't back any of them with confidence.
Maybe 7-5 at tea-time?

Pieters won more holes in the partnership yesterday alright pa. Rory was steady but Pieters played the holes that put real pressure. Granted the eagle was brilliant at the end even if the antics afterwards were a bit OTT and the incident with Austin Johnston was not explained properly.

Rory was shaky for large parts of the foursomes with Sullivan too and it was when Sullivan stopped holing putts that they lost their momentum in the morning. He needs a big day today to try and get this to 8-8 or so. There is no question that he will play all 5 matches.

TBF to Mcilroy today he is pumped up to the last.
Westwood holing long putts and looks completely different to yesterday.
Fairly rivetting stuff,big momentum swings,US 10/11 15 mins ago to 4/6ish now.
Probably going into tomorrow at 8.5 to 7.5, shaping up to be close, game on.

Sport does not get better then this, i backed  Thomas Pieters e/way to be top overall pts player at 50/1 with bet365. they were the only bookie to give that price.Hope he doesnt bottle it in the singles tomorrow.

Great viewing, anychance of a mod editing the bit i said with Westwood?
Pure choke on 17.
Darren could have cost the cup as said by Templett with that pick, very ropey.

Never seen anything like that from a professional golfer, JB and Moore were shocking but were blessed to get that.

Westwood pure filth sadly , Rose and Willet not much better imo. Chubby could have cost us the cup ,both of THEM that is.

Obvious Clarke was going to go "top heavy" i think DL3 should have put Mickleson out first and kept Reed for 3 or 4 match.
Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar are the obvious looking standout American "certs", maybe Snedeker, i think the 1st half dozen matches are open enough, the danger though doing the later one like Kuchar is the cup could be either decided and apathy sets in , or even if Europe have momentum you are getting short odds with a crowd against you.
Expecting a bit of a comeback at least for a while, unless nerves/momentum don't completely take over hard to see US losing, the bottom end of Europes team looks so weak.

The US are definitely certainties.

Westwood should have been named as vice-captain ages ago. He will be hoping to find a partner like Colsaerts in 2012 who carried him to a win. There is no chance he will stand up to the pressure as he has been dire all year when he's been in contention. If he had any honour he would stand down.

Kaymer is not the player he was either.

The Ryder Cup has always been an old pals act in Europe. Torrance, James, McGinley, Clarke, Westwood etc. Knox should have made the team for sure but he's not part of the inner circle.

I would have picked McDowell as at least he can putt and proved himself in the last two Ryder Cups.

Not a bad start from Europe overall.

Reed and mcilroy were unreal early on and couldnt play any better so it was really a matter of who would crack first,

Seems to be mcilroy unless he can find that mindset he had all week again.

Singles ended up a rout, one very weak European team with exception of Pieters,Cabera-Bello,Stenson, Mcilroy, really. Americans had such a strong one likes of Bubba,Berger,Furyk couldn't get in.
Reed brilliant and fair play Pieters.
Damp squib viewing after Europe hit 5/2 earlier in the evening.
