I like Jerry myself Gant,he knows his sport well,a very good Marathon runner; he won the Dublin Marathon a couple of times and finished in the top ten in the 84 Olympics when John Treacy won the silver medal. I believe he is a Shamrock Rovers fan [W/R will know for sure]
That maybe explains a bit. The lads on the RTE panel let him away with the comment, Bernard Dunne should have pulled him up on it.
