Lads, sorry for indulging myself with this thread but wanted to ask if anyone fancied Devils Bride @ 9/4 for this one, looks a decent shout after a solid 4th place finish in the plate, Ruby on board, the only other one on my radar for this is Cavite Beta @ 16/1 former CD winner with a decent claimer on board..

Workrider, Pa Lapsy, Catch Me ifYoucan, BigWillystyles et al...would love to hear your thoughts

If he has recovered from his run in the plate I think 9/4 is a massive price in a race that lacks strengh .Mr 51 looks the danger ...

Mr Fiftyone bt Devils Bride by just under a couple of lths a few runs ago, just a lb worse off there shouldn't be a lot between them.
Devils Bride did run a cracker during the week as you say and likely improved since 1st June, very likely though no certanity to turn that run around.
Hard to be enthusiastic about the rest, though Mountain Kingdom and Three Kingdoms have mostly UK form, don't like either personally, your Cavite Beta certainly wouldn't want any rain.
Mister Hotelier could run well at a bit of a price, improved run last time with Mr Fiftyone behind, has also dropped down the handicap a bit.
All in all Devils Bride just looks the solid option.
That's about the height of it from me PE, i would certainly listen to the others you mentioned maybe even more so, good luck.

Devils Bride looks the right favourite but I like Bally Longford a lot. Won it last year, 4 pounds higher now but I'd say he had that much in hand last year despite not winning by far as he idled in front. He's a horrendous jumper generally but jumped these fences very well last year and if he jumps decently I'd be amazed if he doesn't go close. Looks like he's been aimed at this too.

i see a few stats recently of horses turning put twice during the galway week.the ones from flat to nh have a good record the flat  to flat the same but nh to nh very poor...2m5 is a long distance to recover from to run 4 days later is the point i guess. having said all that it will prob hack up now!...
