Its a bit extreme alright . The owner said they were shot while trying to run back to the yard.

There was a concern they had TB I think and the dept of AGR were advising.

Still doesn't seem right though.

Lot of shennanigans at play in this one. 

Were they not running amok, with TB and at risk of contaminating other neighbours cattle?  Claims they took 8 hours trying and failing to round them up.

Doesn't play well on the PR front though.
