if you read the report in the R/P ,Weld say the horse has NEVER been treated with Lidocaine , I believe him...
This drugging lark is a serious skill in itself. It amazing that they cant catch these fellas. We all know who has their horses on the juice and those that dont, although i doubt if Philip Rothwell had his horses on it judging by their brilliant performaces 
Well what do we know?
He is the trainer with probably the greatest competitive streak (as shown by his longevity) and it was clear that not winning the great European Races in the last 10 years clearly hacked him off.
He reels of his role of honour at each course whenever interviewed, without prompting. If there is something in it and others are doing it, (which they clearly are given the importation figures). It is only a natural progression.

She is a very genuine filly and the crack of the whip across the nose didn´t stop her - she showed guts and courage. She´s not a big filly but now deserves a chance at Listed level. Great, great trainer but an even better to self-aggrandize. Probably only second to McGregor in these Isles.
Dermot Weld's wife and himself are in love with the same person.
Hell of a trainer Gotchee, but he seems to always do it. "This has been a lucky course for me", and then on he goes.
Great trainer neill but he should be handing over to one of his sons at this stage. He has nothing to prove and it can only go downhill after adding the Derby to his CV.
